Featuring a true optic-grade beamsplitter glass and top-quality metal parts, the Telmax Gold Prompter II Mobile Device SEO Titleis an advanced tripod-mounted prompter that supports virtually all mobile devices up to 12". It utilizes a 15mm rod system, allowing you to work with small to mid-size cameras The beamsplitter is designed free from impurity — with no trapped air bubbles, no inconsistencies in the thickness, and lead-free. You can mount it onto your camera's 15mm support rods or directly onto a tripod. The mirror glass is mounted into an aluminum frame and the plastic mirror enclosure is removable so you can clean both sides of the mirror glass. The mirror glass is nominally set at 45° for production, but it is adjustable from 90° (straight up) and down to 0° (folded flat) for storage or transport. The chassis of the prompter is made from black and gold powder coated aluminum, providing a balance between weight, strength, and durability.

The 70/30 mirrored glass is attached by industrial strength hook-and-loop fabric, which prevents it from accidentally detaching from the frame. The glass is removable for cleaning, and the hook-and-loop mounting prevents you from reinstalling the glass reversed.

A: The Telmax Rail-A-Prompter iPad/Tablet Teleprompter (Version 2) will accommodate the Nikon Z6 II easily. It is considered a medium camera in this context.

Q: 2. Could this product provide full power a Sony A7S III via USB-C? And, is there any way to mount the product to a rig besides velcro?

A: Yes, the has a USB Type-C Output of up to 20V at 3A and can power the Sony A7SIII.

Q: 3. Does this work with an iphone 5, the power buttion is on the top, does the clamp push the power button?

A: Hello. You should be able to position the phone so that the power is not activated. Thanks.

Q: 4. Can you use the G2-15 with a dslr?

A: The brand new G2-15 has enough height adjustment, most any camera can be used with it. A DSLR should not be a problem with it.

Q: 5. Where does it attach to on the Ronin M? Can it tilt horizontally as well as vertical?

A: I used the DJI monitor/accessory holder with the Ronin-M mobile device holder and I can place it anywhere along the top ba of the Ronin-M. Works great- yes you can rotate it vertically or horizontally. But you need a way to secure the mobile device holder on the Ronin-M. This set up works well.

Q: 6. Will this work with other teleprompter apps for iOS?

A: We can only say it supports the Telmax OnCue app. However since it is a Bluetooth controller any other app that can be controlled via Bluetooth should work.

Q: 7. How big is the base plate for the tablet? We need a base plate that will legitimately hold a 12 x 9 tablet and not be forced to fit like with the Ikan Elite Pro system

A: The exact size of the base plate for the tablet is not listed. However the do list that it works with tablets up to 12 inches diagonally. If you have the 12.9" model of the iPad Pro, it will not fit.

A: Yes it can, an iPad Mini is about 5.3 inches wide. This Mobile Device Holder can handle a Smart Phone or Tablet up to 6.7 inches wide, which means you'd even be able to mount an iPad Air 2 in this unit.

Q: 9. Is there a controller for the speed of the text or can that only be controlled via a smart phone app?

A: This item does not include any kind of external speed controller. Speed of text is controlled in the included software. Text speed can also be recorded and played back with variable speed.

Q: 10. For the 17", what is the connector type? On the Telemax company website it states INPUT: HDMI / VGA, but on B&H it reads only VGA. Thanks!

[18 x 9 x 8"] I used many different teleprompters before so I new what configuration I have to look at. But at the same time I wasn't sure that this one is comlpetely what I need. So when it came and I did firs shoot with it I realised how good it is. It made with a wery high quality matrials, good glass and this plastic hood with lens hood. The only thing I'd like to be more is monitor connections. There is only dvi-connector so you have to get adaptor for your mac. One more very important thing is software wich goes with teleprompter. I'm in love with ZApromp software. It is very convenient and have pretty all settings you usually need working with prompter. 5

[70/30] Does what it supposed to do that's why I gave it 5 stars. no issues. It's big and not very portable, but not impossible to move on location. In fact if you could use it on location the size of the screen is easier for the talent to read from.One tip I would give is to squeeze your text into a tighter column so the talent's eyes don't have to travel across the screen that way it looks more like speaking and less like reading. It's a good tip for any prompter. 5

[Rectangular] High quality materials, feels strong when holding an FS5 and an iPad air. Having it pan and tilt with my existing tripod is very helpful. The remote that comes with the kit from B&H is trash, wouldn't work with the advertised app. But the kit itself is great! 5

[70/30] We used this teleprompter for the first time a few weeks ago and found it to be a great solution for our needs. Assembly took a little bit of time, but it was not difficult. It was a good investment. 5

[18 x 9 x 8"] For the price this is a great package. It is simple to set up, built to be stable and most importantly, it works. I use it inside for non-profits mostly and beats having adlib remarks. Software loads easily and works well. While it would be nice to have greater flexiblility in crawl speeds the software does allow for recording pauses so that speaker timing works. Would recommend to a friend. 5

[6.35 lb] I live in New Zealand and purchased this model after internet research and speaking to various companies direct including Edward at Telmax. I am an engineer and was most impressed with the build quality of the sub frame - it is solid, rigid and quite substantial. The ZAPrompt software is deceptively simple and offers a comprehensive range of controls over mirroring, fonts and colors, scroll speeds and margin adjustments on the fly- excellent performance. This model is astonishing value for money and the Telmax company are an absolute pleasure to deal with. My endless questions were always answered immediately and courteously- they fully value and understand customer service. If you are in the market for a budget teleprompter, this model is hard to beat. 5

[6.35 lb] Works great. I use it in a very small studio, so we don't use the entire 15 of screen real estate. Eye movement tends to be too much when using it close up, so we just resize the teleprompter app window to be a little smaller on screen. Can't say anything about the software that comes with this device since we use other software instead. The one thing this lacks is the ability for the monitor to flip/mirror itself -- you have to do that in the software or operating system instead. Also, we're amateurs, just filming a video podcast, but works great for us! 5

[Rectangular] This is a great product that worked extremely well, once I figured it all out! lol It comes disassembled and takes a little bit of thinking and studying the parts to put it together, but nothing bad. Downloading and using the software was a little confusing so I called the tech support number that comes with the instructions and the people helping me were awesome. They took whatever time it took to get me up and running to my satisfaction. I immediately used the teleprompter with ease to do an job. I can't say enough good things about the manufacturing company and of course B&H is my favorite audio/video supplier. 5
