A: The Smith-Victor A50 5" Ultra Cool Light (120V) can not take an 85w fluorescent bulb. It will not The reflector is not interchangeable with a different size.

[0.1 lb] This collar replaces the top collar for the telescoping poles of a standard light stand. The tightener on this replacement collar is a little bulkier than the original one I was replacing but it works. The build quality of this is not as nice as the collars that came on the light stand but it is not terrible. I needed a quick replacement for a broken collar on one of my light stands, since I had to purchase a few other things from B&H anyway I was able to add this on for a few dollars on an order that already had free shipping. Installation: Took less than 4 minutes to remove old broken collar and replace with this one. All you need is a phillips screw driver. 5
