Got this because holding my phone between my thumb and middle finger for long periods of time filming was not pleasant. This kit provides a better grip, holds phone securely. The light is nice in low or no light conditions but you need to use light diffuser filming people to soften the harshness of the light, the mic and windsock are great in windy conditions.

This is extremely well built, and mine came with an attachment that can replace the VCT wedge in the front and lets you mount a tripod plate (i.e. manfrotto/sachtler or euro plate) and attach directly to the tripod.

I bought one of these secondhand, and it was having problems with the connection between handle and extender. I contacted Chrosziel with the problem and had me send it in, along with my FX6 handle. A few days later, I received both pieces back in excellent working order.


The extender itself is sturdy, and is quick to deploy with smoooooth action. I like that it's very slimline and doesn't take up much space. As all you fellow FX6 owners know, finding a carry-on friendly case is pretty much impossible if you want to keep your camera built up. Not saying I can because of the extender, but this arm takes up less space in a case than the competition.

I wanted to be able to change lenses without removing my matt box, this filled the bill. I believe it's overpriced considering the materials and design, but if you really need or want something enough, you pay.

even though I thought that the pricing is a little on the expensive side I am pleasantly surprised with my new Chrosziel shoulder support for my FX6. I am able to mount the camera in three different positions, the shoulder pad is easy to adjust, comfy and easy to slide back and forth. looks like you can also add a rear rod support which I haven't purchased yet but will def get it

The FX9 handgrip cable is well-known for being a little too tight when extended. This add-on takes the stress off

Used for a couple of long days in Australia and it add's much needed functionality to the FX6 in run and gun situations. The quick adjust shoulder pad is a blessing when rigging the camera different ways and rebuilding it, as sometimes we run BP batteries, other times the balance is shifted by V-locks. The mounting plate clicks in smoothly and allows shoulder tripod moves to be done in 10 seconds.

Highly recommended.

I needed a matte box that was lighter than the RedRock unit, for handheld work. This was suggested to me to be the lightest one available that still had two full filter holders. It's design is really solid and it is well made. The donut solution is the best I've seen as well. Also the french flag / eyebrow folds in half to make it easier to pack and travel with. I'd buy this again if I ever needed a second one.

Great handle. Perfect for low mode flat steadicsm plates on arriflex cameras and alike.

There are 3 sizes for the 0.8 pitch and this one is the biggest, When I use it with a whip, i turn the whip lesser for go zoom start to end of the focus range on my lens.
