A: The StarTech B&H # STSATDK2REU3 has been tested with hard drives up to 4TB. It does not mean it would not support larger drives, it just has not been officially tested by Startech. A: In my experience, yes. the caveat is that i copied to a drive that is the same size as the original. I have not tried it with different sized drives.

A: The drives cannot be raided.

A: It will duplicate a drive sector by sector.

A: the time it takes to erase the drive will be based on the speed of the drive and software being used

[1x 2.5" or 3.5"] All the screws are included, though not obvious in the photos. Abe was very helpful, knowledgeable, and cost conscious. Would purchase again should the need arise. 5

[0.23 lb] Just installed my first SSD, 250GB Crucial BX100, using this adapter, part no. BRACKET25X2, which included 2 SATA cables and a SATA "Y" power cable for two drives as well as the 3.5 inch to 2.5 inch adapter. The part is not only well designed, fitting the SSD perfectly, but included all the hardware to mount two 2.5 inch SATA drives in the 3.5 inch "floppy drive" slot on my old Dell Optiplex 755. Only issue was the four fiber washers that would not fit: being concerned that they were necessary, I called Tech Support and wonder of wonders at 3:30PM EDT an agent picked up the call after about a 1 minute wait! All I can say is that I will not hesitate to buy more StarTech products if this one is typical of the rest of their product line. 5

[0.23 lb] Bought this to replace one of the trays in my QNAP TVS1282T. Installation was simple, shutdown QNAP, pop out the broken tray, transfer the drive to the new tray and pop it back. Done. Thanks QNAP for making the process simple. 5

[0.23 lb] Just got this from a retailer to mount 2 SSD SATA 2.5 inch drives in my desk computer. I didn't need the SATA cables this time (they were replacement drives) but the split power cable was useful. I didn't know what to do with the fibre washers in the bag of screws so went on line to the tech support chat and quickly sorted it out (basically use them if needed). Excellent product. I have been using Star Tech products for quite a few years. 5

[0.23 lb] The drive tray on my QNAP 1282T broke. This was easy to replace, shut down QNAP, remove, replace drive and put it back in. That’s it. No tools required. 5
