A: You cannot. This product is specifically for Wide Angle Attachments. Using a 77mm filter system on a lens with a 95mm thread will be very difficult, there may be vignetting caused by using such a smaller system on a larger one and we do not recommend it.

A: No; 40.5 is too large to go on the X30. It is frustrating to try to attach anything to these little Fuji lenses. I ended up buying a lot of miscellaneous caps, hoods, step up rings, and filters. I finally gave up and purchased the Fuji hood that came with a clear filter (size not specified but perhaps a 40mm) and a pinch cap. It seemed like an unreasonable price, but it works well. All the other filters and step up rings and caps are part of my estate.

In my experience most brands of 95 mm filters are threaded with this pitch. However 95 mm filters made by Formatt-Hitech have a pitch of 0.75 mm and will not fit.
