[5052 Aluminum] This has been a great addition to our studio storage area. A high-quality product that is solid and sturdy as well as very easy to install. Keeps all of our stands off the floor and provides some extra storage space for other gear as well.

[0.3 lb / 0.1 kg] Only note is it's not for small items as the upper back and sections in the side have about a 1 high gap. Great for rain covers, toolbox, and larger items etc. Wider than my Apollo 40 and Ranger drawers.

[0.3 lb / 0.1 kg] This thing is solid and can hold a lot of stands! Theres room on here for four combo stands and 15 smaller ones. The spacing might be tight if you want to load all the spaces but for someone like me who doesnt have a huge assortment, its perfect to hold everything in one place!

The mounting holes are 16 on center so its perfect for mounting directly to wall studs like I did. If you do that youll want to put something along where the stands hang to keep the walls scratch free. I just used a cheap PVC Storage Rail since its easy to install.

[5052 Aluminum] Id been waffling on this bag for a few weeks, but pulled the trigger when Id acquired a Mamiya 7II to complete my kit. This bag is currently holding a Nikon F3 + Distagon 28mm, Leica M5 + Nokton 35, a Mamiya 7II + 80mm, and in the compartments, I have a Voigtlander 40mm for the Nikon, a Voigtlander 15mm for the Leica, an Elmarit 28mm for the Leica, and a 50mm for the Mamiya. Ive thrown in a bunch of rolls, a lens cleaning kit, some pens, and its still got the room for a 15-in MacBook if Im so inclined.

When I close that bag with all this gear and there is no bulge at all, despite the Mamiya being a little taller than the rest of the camera bodies. The straps are so well designed, it sits well on my shoulders and back, and even better when Ive gotten the sternum strap engaged. Feels like Im not carrying anything!

I also bought this bag for the zone system that Hex is advertising, and I think its pretty smart and going to work out for my use -- I could see a scenario where Ill be carrying one body on me, but Ill want to use another and just sliding the bag to my front and opening that panel is incredibly helpful. The added bonus is that you can adjust the zippers to your preference (left side, right side, or top)

The only drawback (its really minor, but bears noting) for me is the internal zippers for the different compartments. While its great that Hex took extra care in creating little pockets for the zipper head, Im still worried about the closed zipper slowly scratching the camera bodies, especially the Mamiya. The solution that seems to work for now is to put gaffer tape over the zipper.

All in all a really really great bag. Its unassuming, yet stylish, and keeps a slim enough profile to not call attention to the fact that you could be carrying so much important gear. The padding is more than adequate, and it all fits so snugly.
