The Panasonic HC-V800 Full HD Camcorderfrom Panasonic HC-V800 Full HD Camcorderpairs an f/1.8 to f/4 24x Leica Dicomar zoom with a back-illuminated 1/2.5" MOS sensor, providing impressive optical imagery even at lower light levels. The HC-V800 captures Full HD video at rates up to 1080p60, and up to 26MP still photos. A Wi-Fi Twin-Camera feature enables you to simultaneously record a PiP-style camera angle using your smartphone as your second camera. Use the Image App and your wireless device to access multicamera, record/playback, remote viewing, and uploading functions via Wi-Fi.

The HC-V800's 24x optical zoom lens features a focal length of 25 to 600mm and a 48x Intelligent Zoom, offering a substantial amount of telephoto scope. For steadier handheld shooting, the HC-800 features three optical stabilizer technologies including Panasonic's Hybrid OIS+, Ball OIS, and Adaptive OIS.

An Active Contrast feature smooths out gradations in high-contrast scenes, and an HDR Movie mode provides a wider dynamic range for more lifelike reproductions. [Yes] I'm no video expert, but I love this camera. Bought it to film my son's high school baseball games. During the pandemic, spectators are not allowed to get close, so had to film everything from the stands or odd angles down the line. With this camera, I can shoot from the outfield fences and still get crisp, high-res video. There are so many options and configurations (not that that's a bad thing) that it'll take me through his college years to learn it all, but the footage I'm gathering is really good. It's conveniently sized; I throw it in my handy Ruggard Onyx 25 Camera/Camcorder Shoulder Bag and off I go. I find the Ulanzi MT-11 Multifunctional Octopus Tripod (which people all the time ask me where I got it) to be really helpful as it allows me to mount the camera on almost any fence or railing for more stability. Got everything at B&H. My salesman was patient and didn't try to sell me. Good experience all around. 5

[Light - No] Great camcorder! Inexpensive and very easy to use. Perfect for recording personal and amateur videos. Easy to display the recorded videos on a TV screen or on your personsl computer. You can also take pictures on it. 5

[1/2.5"-Type MOS] I just got back from an Africa Safari with this camcorder. Had a chance to preview my 4K raw videos on my TV at home .. amazingly crisp videos, just like the way my eyes saw it, only thing missing was the 3D effect! I have to say I am very impressed by how well this camcorder performed under all types if lifht conditions, bright sun to early morning sunrise. The wind noise filtering is also very good and the sound pretty amazing. I was debating whether to get the one with viewfinder but ultimately decided against it. I’m glad I opted for the panel viewfinder only .. so much more convenient to just flip it open, record, close it and put it standby mode. Battery performance was surprisingly very good. All in all a very good buy and a fantastic performer. 5

[1/4"-20 Female] I purchased my first Panasonic HC-V800 from B&H Photo in 2019. When decided to start our video podcast this year we wanted to do it all-pro utilizing a three camera shoot. With all the great professional features and high HD quality videos we had already produced with the HC-V800 the choice was simple. We purchased two more of these fine cameras from B&H Photo. During recording we send individual stereo audio feeds from our mics/mixer to the three cameras audio input jacks. The recorded video/audio is transferred to the computer where we post mix the three camera footage to one finished video that has three camera angles that were chosen/switched during post edit. These cameras have large 1/2.5-type BSI MOS Sensors that are awesome in low light and produce HD video that rivals 4K. These are awesome cameras and I know of no other that can compete in the same price range. 5

[1x Barrel Input] I picked this because it is small and light - shoots in full 30 frame 4 k. I use it with the weebill lab -s. My Sony prosumer was too big and heavy for the Weebill. With the Crane 3 it it comes in at about 7 pounds. This is nice for small simple shoots. I like the fact it has a shutter instead of a lens cap to take off. The camera has built in stabilization which works fairly good. The weebill gives me a handle to hold on to - a little better stabilization walking around. 5
