With a 500-lumen beam for searching or clearing and a long-lasting low-power beam for routine situations, the SureFire EDCL1-T Dual-Output LED Flashlightfrom SureFire EDCL1-T Dual-Output LED Flashlightis a useful light to have on hand. On its 5-lumen low setting, the light will run 45 hours on one CR123A battery. A shroudless two-stage push-button tailcap switch selects output levels on a momentary basis; twist the tailcap for constant-on activation.

The EDCL1-T housing is machined from an aluminum alloy finished with an anodized hard coat, and is equipped with a two-way clip for bezel-up or down carry. SureFire's Total Internal Reflection (TIR) collimating lens produces a pre-focused beam with a tight center cone of bright light, yet sufficient peripheral light for situational awareness. Knurling on the body and tailcap assure a secure grip.

Q: 10. is the titan-b waterproof?

A: Yes, I have had mine in water without issue. I do not know the specific specs but on page 11 of the 2015 SureFire catalog the information notes f course building rugged, virtually indestructible bodies is about keeping out the elements, so we seal out water and dust with O-ring and gasket seals. In the unlikely event that moisture gets past these defenses, we minimize potential harm with waterproof coatings on our electronics and by using gold and other premium non-corroding metals for electrical contacts and interfaces.

[0.3 lb] Best all around surefire light for most uses. Great spot beam with enough flood to light the way but not bounce off everything nearby and blind you. Dial output with press of the button or turn of the rear cap to stay on, lots of lumens lights up a field if need be. Small enough to carry anywhere big enough to use even with glove

[ 1 to 45 Hours] I’m glad Surefire brought the two-stage gas pedal tactical switch back in this light! It works by pressing lightly for low or pressing hard for high. Constant on is achieved by twisting the tailcap. Did I mention it’s bright?! 1200 lumens bright on high is amazing! TIR in this light gives a fairly tight hotspot but not nearly as tight as the TIR optic from years ago. Meaning, there is plenty of surround (peripheral) light to go along with that bright hotspot. Low is suppose to be 5 lumens but it’s actually 20 lumens on my light. Two-way clip allows you to carry this in your pocket either bezel up or bezel down. I like bezel down as this light fits well in your pocket. I’m glad Surefire is making these again and I’m also glad they are more affordable! B&H delivery was fast and free, thanks for that!

[0.3 lb] Hoorray! Just a moment ago I have received my 1-T. Right from the start — it is nearly perfect, but! This “gas pedal” interface has issues — it needs tuning to work reliably:

1. You twist the tail cap too far — and you get a full power preflash when you need low;
2. You twist the tail cap insufficiently — and no matter how hard you press, you get low only.

Of course, this is not a problem when you understand the issue, but I saw people complaining of a preflash. This is not a flaw, this is a feature of the “gas pedal” mechanical construction.

P.S.: With my sample I need to twist the head to a constant low mode position. Then untwist it 180 back to get 100% reliable two stage “gas pedal” functionality. BTW, when on constant low button press gives momentary high.

[10 x 4.2 x 1.5"] The best I have seen, but be aware that the beam in more of a flood than a throw beam. Which I prefer for edc. Very bright and powerful light.

[1x LED] Construction is heavy duty anodized aluminum with waterproof gaskets and a rubber covered end switch. The first click produces a 15 lumen low beam, that would be adequate for reading or illuminating a trail at night (52 hrs. duration), and the second unleashes 600 lumens (1.5 hrs. duration) that blast through the darkness. The crinkled reflector produces a useful beam width of fairly uniform brightness, especially at the lower illumination level. I just love SureFire flashlights and own several, from the earlier incandescent versions to LED E2 Backup and Tactical Defender models. This 6PX Pro, LED is a little larger in diameter than the others but still compact enough for pocket carry; it is also less expensive. Highly recommended.

[ 1 to 45 Hours] This SureFire 6PX Pro Dual Ouput is an awesome flashlight. It is small enough to be handy for use in the car or your home. I like the option of bright and then super bright light. We have dark skies and this light is very helpful for walking after sunset. I use it inside on the lower setting to not disturb others while I rise very early before sunrise. The feel is excellent and is easy to grip. I recommend highly this product you will not be disappointed.

[0.3 lb] I work nights, and have a variety of pocketable flashlights, the current photo doesn't show the new Tactician tail cap which is perfect as the beam pattern. Very mild crenellations that won't eat your pockets. I've been using SureFIre rechargeables without a loss in performance. B&H ships fast and has great prices.

[1x LED] This just fits my needs almost perfectly. We live in a rural area, and we have various varmints that make appearance, two dogs that need to go outside...you get the picture. First there are only two brightness levels. I have lights that have several more levels than that, but the 15 lumens is adequate for what we always used a flashlight for. One click and you get 15 lumens.

The button is on the tail end of this so it is always at hand. A second click gives 600 lumens. Again, I have lights that go over 1000 lumens, but this is more than enough for me. One thing that gets overlooked in the lumens race is the beam width. This has a nice focused spotlight beam with moderate spillover. Again just about perfect for me.

I run 15 lumens 95+% of the time. I'll click on high for a momentary burst and then back to low. Nearly ideal. You can buy the rechargeable cells sized like the CR123's or just stick with disposables. Lithium batteries are great for cold weather, too.

For me, smaller lights are great, but easily misplaced. The only competition for this light for me is the new rechargeable
Maglite ML150LR. I have both and use them both, they are sort of complementary
