[Line: 20 kOhms] These are great for monitors and work well for mains in a small club. To get the best reproduction, use a least a crown amp with 500W into 8 Ohms. If you are using them for mains, I recommend sweeping it with a 1/3 octave eq.

This speaker is cute. Esthetically it matches our other new speakers. We bought the lower-rated version of the speaker. As a 15in speaker, it can hit, but we will keep tweaking it. It sounds likes the highs are good and the bottom is weak (but that may be the tuning remnants from our previous speaker)

For my solution, I don't want these to drive extremely hard. So far, they don't have any presence unless the vocalist eats the microphone.

We'll keep tweaking. These are replacing our Passive Peavy 15s. These don't have the same presence. They seem like 10s versus 15s.

I just connected today because I was waiting 6 days on NL4 connectors. I still think we are going to enjoy these.

I just hate that I didn't notice they require NL4 connectors. It's in the description, but I didn't notice. I didn't plan to shift to any NL4 systems. We bought 1/4 inch to NL4 connectors and are moving along.

These came via external B&H vendor. They were within scope for my delivery need date; however, these external vendors suck at providing updates regarding the delivery date.

[Active] I usually don't write reviews but I have to do so for this speaker.I have own few PA speakers mackie thump and others,this beast has no comparison this very powerful with excellent base I haven't connected it yet to my mixer that definitely will increase sound but so far I don't have I'm completely satisfied with this amazing sound wow.I will definitely get another one I can't wait to hear 2 of this beast sound together. Also B&H is class A received this speakers very fast delivery

[90 x 60°] I had heard of DAS before but I had no idea that they had something other than Line Arrays. This sounds like a REAL Das setup at a size I can take with me to all event. Really worked out for me

[90 x 60°] I have only used these speakers once but suffice it to say I am very impressed with sound level and quality of sound!!

I play in a three piece wedding band, drums, bass and guitar. 

I had a gig at an outside venue and decided to test these speakers out there.  I had been led to believe the venue was smaller and guests would number about 150.  When I got there the place was bigger than I expected and there were a bit more than 200 guests. To top it off, the dance floor was located a ways from the band.

When I fired them up and did the sound check I knew that the speakers were going to handle the event just fine.

I used a bass drum mic and an overhead for the drums.  I also put the guitar and  and a little bass guitar through the speakers.  These speakers put out some surprising  volume and quality sound. The vocals sounded very nice and clear.

Granted, these speakers are and upgrade from the $800 to $900 per speaker I was using, but nevertheless these Yamaha bring the volume and quality of sound that IS the next level. I can only Imagine how they sound with the Yamaha subs which I plan on getting soon.

I am very satisfied with my purchase. And bottom line, these speakers make my band sound better, and that is good for business.

[45 Hz - 20 kHz] These speakers produce phenomenal sound! The quality is great and I would recommend them to anyone wanting to fill a medium to large room with well-rounded lows and highs.

[132 dB] I bought this speaker for to use in my car to blast music everywhere I go. It gets the job done and it’s pretty loud but you are also able to link 2 of them together for some real fun!!!! Speaking of which I’ll probably go buy another one soon. PS: no it’s not rechargeable I just have a power supply.
