The Sennheiser SK 300 G4-RC Wireless Transmitter 558-608 MHzis a bodypack wireless transmitter compatible with the EM 300-500 G4 receiver. The rugged, all-metal design is comfortable for performers and presenters to wear for daily use on stage. The transmitter operates on a wide 50 MHz UHF tuning range with 2000 selectable frequencies available. It provides up to 8 hours of operation on two AA batteries, with a transmission range up to 330 feet and a selectable 10/30/50mW RF power output for overcoming interference in difficult RF environments.

The SK 300 G4-RC features a locking 3.5mm connector with an adjustable mic/line input level to accommodate the compatible lavalier or headset microphone of your choice. It is also equipped with a 2.5mm jack to connect the RMS 1 remote mute switch (available separately). The switch adds easy-access push-to-talk and push-to-mute functions to your transmitter.

When the Sync function on the SK 300 G4-RC is engaged, the transmitter and receiver quickly link to the same frequency via infrared. The transmitter's backlit LCD displays essential information, while the convenient programmable mute function can be locked out to prevent accidental changes during a performance.

The unit can also be powered by a single rechargeable BA 2015 Accupack battery (available separately). Side contacts allow for recharging the Accupack without removing it from the transmitter—requires the L 2015 quick-charging unit (available separately).

The SK 300 G4-RC is backward-compatible with all previous evolution systems. You can mix and match G4/G3/G2/G1 receivers or bodypack, handheld, and plug-on transmitters. It is also compatible with EW 100 and EW500 systems.

Q: 1. what accu batteries can I use for Sennheiser SK 100 G4 transmitter ?

A: The below are compatible: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/324393-REG/Sennheiser_BA2015G2_BA_2015G2_Rechargeable_Battery.html https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/324394-REG/Sennheiser_L2015G2_Charging_Station.html Power Requirements Battery Battery Type 2 x AA (Included) 1 x Sennheiser Accupack (Not Included, Replaceable)

Q: 2. I'm looking for a belt clip for Sennheiser SK100 ?

A: BH #SE543660 is the replacement belt clip for the Sennheiser SK 100 G4 Wireless Bodypack Transmitter.

Q: 3. Will this work with an older EW 500 G3 receiver (if they're both set to the same frequency)?

A: Yes, the Sennheiser SK 500 G4 is compatible with the G3 series as long as there is overlap in the frequency blocks and transmitter & receiver can be set to the same frequency.

Q: 4. Will this receiver work with the Sennheiser SK 500 G4 Bodypack Transmitter Freq.Range Aw+, 470-558 MHz?

A: Yes, it will work with the SK500G4 AW+.

Q: 5. Hi there. Will this unit supply 48 V phantom power to a shotgun mic? Cheers

A: Hi Marc - the SK 100 G4 bodypack transmitter doesn’t supply 48V phantom power, however, the SKP 500 G4 plug-on transmitter does. If you’re working with a shotgun microphone that can be powered via battery or phantom powers - such as the MKE 600 - you could also use the SKP 100 G4 plug-on transmitter as a more cost effective solution. Alternately, a CM 1 XLR Female to 3.5mm locking connector adapter cable can also be used with the MKE 600 to connect it to a bodypack transmitter. For +48V phantom power, you’ll want to be looking at the 500 Series (EW 500 G4 BOOM, EW 500 G4 FILM or SKP 500 G4).

Q: 6. Can the Sennheiser SK 100 G4 transmit to multiple 100 g4 receiverers on the same frequency. one transmitter to 2 - receivers?

A: Yes, the Sennheiser SK 100 G4 Wireless Bodypack Transmitter can simultaneously transmit audio to multiple EW 100 G4 Series Wireless Receivers that are tuned to the same frequency.

Q: 7. How many mics can this receiver connect to, does it work with AVX Bodypack Transmitter?

A: This single receiver pairs with one UHF transmitter from the Sennheiser ew 500 series only. An AVX transmitter would not work, because it operates in a digital frequency range. An example of a full system is the Sennheiser ew 500 Wireless G4 Handheld Microphone System with e945 Capsule AW+ (470 to 558 MHz), BH #SEEW500G494W or for a clip-on mic, the Sennheiser ew 500 G4-MKE 2 Wireless Lavalier Microphone System AW+ (470 to 558 MHz,) BH# SEEW500G4MKW.

Q: 8. Will the A: 516-558 body pack sync with a G: 566-608 receiver?

A: In order to sync properly, the Sennheiser SK 100 G4 Wireless Bodypack Transmitter (A: 516 to 558 MHz) must be paired with a Sennheiser receiver on the same frequency range, and more specifically, on the same exact frequency. Two wireless components on different frequency ranges will not communicate with each other whatsoever.

Q: 9. Is the G4 (470-558MHz) compatible with an Ek100 G3 receiver (516-558MHz)?

A: Hi Brite - the two series are absolutely compatible as long as they are in the same range. As the AW+ range (470-448 MHz) transmitter extends beyond the lower frequencies of the A range EK 100 G3, you won't get the full benefit the transmitter is capable of for tuning, but you'll be able to scan with your EK 100 G3 and sync to the new SK 300 G4. Please note that the frequency presets will be different, though this isn't an issue when it comes to scan/sync capabilities.

Q: 10. Is it possible to use both the handheld and the lavaliere at the same time with the one receiver?

A: No, only one transmitter at a time. For two wireless transmitters to work simultaneously you will need an additional system and each system will have to be tuned to different frequencies.

[25 kHz] The antennas on my G2 set was getting a little pathetic looking, so I did a quick search on how to replace them, found these and ordered. They are so easy to replace! My only issue was some battery acid buildup had caked one of the screws down on the mainboard. I had to finagle it, but it worked just fine. Between the battery acid and the antennas, Ive brought this set back to life.

[13.9 x 3.3 x 3"] We all know this is the name to beat! Originally bought the receiver and handheld mic. Should’ve bought the full combo, because I came back to buy the body pack because I was so pleased with the original purchase of the receiver and handheld mic. Untouchable in my opinion. Clicks off all the boxes. The only question I am uncertain of, the salesman pushed me toward the less expensive off brand Sonal lapel mic, other than the Senn. It is awesome, very study and quality sound, but just curious of the difference with the Senn lapel would have made. Have read reviews the Sonal is better, sound and build quality So I am banking on that. Overall, don’t be scared to make the purchase. This is a brand to trust.

[Bodypack] The original antenna casing began to tear and expose the antenna wire. I soldered this new one in place and have had zero issues.
