[8 Ohms] This speaker sounds amazing compared to the 3 inch woofers on the Polk CH that I previously owned. The DM20 has 4 four inch woofers.
I would highly recommend the speaker to enhance your home theatre system. A bit on the heavy side so if you're going to mount on the wall make sure you use sturdy brackets.

[8 Ohms] This is now the 3rd pair of these speakers I own after expanding my collection twice. Simply put, the size and sonic performance of these satellites is solid and very hard to beat. I have coupled these in one of our media rooms with a pair of SVS PB 1000 Pro subs and couldn't be happier. The satellites are easy to place and blend nicely with the SVS subs which I also love. I am hooked on Definitive for value and performance.

[8 Ohms] Love these speakers! For the size they produce a very full sound, the bass radiator really makes the difference in my view. Very well made too. I'm using them for satellites in my home theater and they work great for movies and music. Can't say enough good things about them!

I consider myself to be an advanced intermediate level Home Theater enthusiast and these speakers deliver on all levels, bass, mids, and highs. Prior to upgrading to the DM70s I owned the BP8020s, great speakers but comparing them to the DM70s is an apples and oranges comparison. The build quality has been greatly improved. The lack of LFE input isn’t missed and is an enhancement because this design approach opens the door to using 4 DM70s or more in a system with full-range audio at all channels! They definitely hit deep as u can see from my MultEQ-X measurements, without applying my room target curve these speakers play down in the 20Hz range. These speakers can easily be utilized without a dedicated sub but adding one definitely will take your system to the next level. I recommend 2 subs if you have the space to maintain balance. The highs are very articulate but not overly bright and the height of the mid/highs module is optimal for listening in a seated position. If you are searching for your next set of towers look no further, you will not be disappointed with this purchase.

[8 Ohms] I have had my speakers for a year now but first let me start by saying I love movies and music. So I love hear all the special sound effects in both, foot steps, little noises in the back ground etc etc.. So if you are like me, you will find these speakers really deliver big time! They deliver a live band sound experience to the moment. I have sound systems on every TV in my house, living room Bose, bedroom Harmon Kardon. So when it came to my movie room where I was going to be entertaining, plus its my pride and joy. I had to get what I been wanting for a while now and the performance exceeded my expectations. The sound is really crisp and clear, never had any distortion. You don't buy these speakers unless want high end sound, get the best AVR and projector you can afford. Then enjoy having the time of your life!

[8 Ohms] I have this center channel speaker between a pair of DM60's (See review on the DM60 page.) The spoiler alert here, as the title suggests-this center channel is incredible. Vocal clarity and intelligibility are second to none. Voices come across very naturally, and with a lifelike realism that really has to be heard to be understood. If you're looking at the DM60/70/80's, if you have the space, this is the center you need to get-that simple. Also, I have the Demand D17's in a second room, and while the demand D5C is an excellent center, this center goes perfectly in that set up as well. You will be the envy of your friends.

[8 Ohms] Finally, a center channel speaker that will not leave you wanting more and best of all you can turn off the closed captions! The DM30 is an amazing speaker, build quality is second to none, and the sound this speaker produces is the standard all center channel speakers should strive to achieve. My wife has described the vocals produced as being so lifelike that you would think the actors are in the room with you. This speaker actually outperforms most front channel speakers as you can see from my MultEQ-X measurements. You may think you really do not “need” a center channel speaker that can play down to 30Hz but once you experience it you will never go back. The range is needed to ensure whatever you throw at this work horse is handled with ease. Hearing deep voices in movies such as Venom, Bane, and Emperor Palpatine are life changing with this speaker. Everything comes to life! Definitely run a test with the Greatest Showman, the scene in the Opera Hall will take you and your viewers breath away once your system is configured correctly. The speaker is a bit larger than other center channels, but the size is worth what the speaker achieves. How many center channels have 3 8” subs built in? These subs will not replace your independent sub, but it adds body to vocals. When watching content, the speakers fade to the background due to black enclosure. This speaker was purchased to replace the CS9040. I can tell you with full confidence that even if you own the flagship center for the CS line and/or any other brand center channel, the DM30 will eat them for lunch and be ready for a snack in minutes any day of the week. If you can make it work do not think twice, just buy it, you will be happy.

[8 Ohms] I have these speakers, coupled to 800's surrounds, a pro center 2000 center, and a super cube subwoofer. These speakers, as my reveiw of the center says, are truly rock solid, with zero discernible distortion. You would have to raise the volume to ludicrous levels in order to make these things tremble. They are very musical, and reproduce notes with great realism and ease. I would seriously suggest pairing them to a super cube subwoofer, which is a thing of beauty itself. There is a scene in one of the Spiderman films where "Doc Oc" initiates a fusion, and the sound, which was at reasonable mid volume, literally made me jump, really conveyed the power of the reaction. Love these monitors, make sure you couple them to a quality receiver, using higher gauge speaker wire.
