A: Yes – red can be used without ever switching to white. First press will activate low red. Next press immediately after will activate high red. Next press is off. White low requires a full 1-second-press-and-hold to “skip” over the red mode. Next press immediately after will activate white high. Next press is off.

A: Although the manufacturer was not able to provide a CRI rating, they mentioned that this light would be closest to a daylight balanced color temperature.
