It works great, especially like the ability to share the speakers and microphone between all 4 pieces of gear.

I'm using this switch to share my devices between my PC and Mac at my desk. I simply switch inputs on my monitor and press the super handy remote button included with this unit and all my devices are switched over.


I had worried about how my audio interface would handle being switched between a Mac and a PC, but so far it has worked perfectly with my Scarlett 2i2.

[1 x DC jack] Because you can enter a 1..4 number after the double hot-key, you can jump to whatever console you want. This is handy because I have 2 PCs and 2 Raspberry Pi's attached and the frequency of use is disproportionate between them.

I have to say the front buttons being metal flaps are weird, but I never use them. If you did, you might appreciate a real physical switch. I expect these are mini-PCB switches behind the cool plasma cut metal.

I also don't use the shared USB as the mouse/kbd is all I need to switch.

[4.15 lb] Unlike many KVMs, this thing actually does what it says it can. I'm running two 4K monitors at 60Hz with absolutely no stability issues between a Mac and an Ubuntu machine. Will definitely go for another ATEN box if my needs change.

[4.15 lb] Purchased this recently to consolidate desk space between work and personal PCs to share the same monitors. Very easy to setup and use. Initially there were some minor quirks when switching computers, such as one monitor not being recognized, but that seems to have gone away now, perhaps due to updated drivers, settings, etc.

[4.15 lb] This was a great buy, has two extra USB 2.0 nodes with one on the front for use with thumb sticks or w/e other USB peripheral you use. The foot print of this KVM is half the size of my old VGA Belkin. I have no cons to report.

[11.2 x 6.9 x 4"] Quality is excellent. Remote is useless, doesn't affect my 5 star review. I never use the remotes during trial. Easy to use UI, works friendly with DAs and Monitors.

[1 x DC jack] I had some questions as to whether this would work with Surveillance Recorders.
Support at B&H Photo advised that it should and it does.
Saves a lot of space when you have multiple recorders or PCs.
I wouldn't have had room if I had to have 4 monitors, keyboards and mice.

[4.15 lb] Using the product with a collection of Raspberry Pi. Works very well. Able to switch displays quickly without any problem. USB follows along with no problems. Happy customer!

[4.15 lb] This product replaced a Trendnet Displayport KVM which I didn't like so much that I spent the money to replace it. In short, the unit works well and is reliable, it's expandible, looks good and doesn't have any anoying features.


I have 3 coputers that needed to be switched and two monitors. This unit is expandible so by adding a second one, you can control up to 4 monitors. Didn't need that flexibility and didn't appreciate it till the pandemic when my wife started working from home and her job required 3 screens, with a fourth being a bonus. That expandibility became a real bonus and it's nice to have because you never know when you will need it.


The unit remembers how you lay out the screens. I place and size some screens to open on one monitor and others on the other monitors. When switching between computers, turning them on and off, all the program open in that consistent way. No need to reconfigure anything.


There are no anoying or distracting features such as flashing lights like I had with my Trendnet unit. Unobstrusive at home or at the office. It costs more than other units but you get cables included and that saves a bunch, including itme, if you have to buy them on your own. The displayport cables should be longer but the rest of the cables were fine. I have not used the speaker output or the microphone input so can't comment on these.
