A: I have a pelican 1510 case and this divider. The fit isn't perfect but it works. On the pelican case where the wheels raise into the interior of the case the divider does not fit well. It causes the divider to lift and buckle slightly but does not interfere with lid or seal. My gear is still well protected and feel this was a good purchase.

A: According to SKB, the thickness of the base is 0.5” inches (12.7 mm) and the cell wall thickness is 0.125” inches (3.175 mm).

A: The Pelican 1510 dimensions are: 19.8 x 11.0 x 7.6 in (50.2 x 27.9 x 19.3 cm), while the SKB iSeries divider's dimensions are: 20.4 x 11.4 x 5.0 in (51.8 x 29.1 x 12.7 cm). As it is larger than the Pelican's internal dimensions it would not fit properly.

Q: 10. 18.5 x 13 x 5.5" are the dimensions of this insert. If I put pressure onto the top, would the 5.5 inches reduce to 5 inches? I would be inserting this into a check-in luggage which has a 5 inch wall height.

A: I do feel you would be fine with compressing about half an inch yes. Though I am not sure I would check luggage with camera gear unless it was intended for airline travel for camera gear like the SKB and Pelican cases are.
