Featuring a high CRI of 95 indicating accurate color and output equivalent of a 450W tungsten fixture, the Smith-Victor SmartLED50 Bluetooth LED Bulbfrom Smith-Victor SmartLED50 Bluetooth LED Bulbis a light source with a household screw-in base that can be controlled remotely with your iPhone or tablet using a free app. The bulbs can be individually turned on/off or dimmed, or you can group several bulbs to create "zones" for different rooms in a house. Each room can be assigned a group number which can be adjusted wirelessly.

A: IMO the arms are garbage so i replaced with flexible arms and new hot shoes. maybe just getting hot shoe adapter on your other stand would solve this problem for you.the led lights are really nice and is worth doing a little modding to get the desired output you seek.

Q: 9. Can you alter the color temperature (Kelvin) of this light from the app and has it ever turned off because of over heating?

A: You cannot change the color temperature.

Q: 10. Are there backdrops included?

A: The Smith-Victor 17" LED Desktop Studio comes with four (4) sweeps. A white, black, and gray background sweep are included, as well as a chroma key green sweep for dropping in your own background in post-production.

[0.995 lb] I had some smaller rectangular, side lite LED lights that have been using that are LEDGO or something, which are also good, but not as bright and not round. This should make nice catchlights in the eyes if I use it in such a way. I wish there was a nice power block tether like the LEDGO lights have. Kind of a rubber thing that hangs off a knob on the light stand to keep the power brick from dangling. I think this had some velcro that came with it but that's defiantly not the same or as good. I actually haven't tried it with the batteries yet, but I assume it would be the same. If not, I will report back and take off at least one star if not. I know they make a color temp variable version too. I wish this would have been it, but it was on sale and I can deal with daylight balanced light. 5

[0.995 lb] I got this to shoot pictures of small objects and it works like a charm. The lighting is super bright with this setup, and with the included backgrounds it was seemless. 5

[120 VAC] Maybe not quite as bright as a 500W halogen, but still impressive for the cost and size. I'm considering using them to replace incandescent lamps in some 6" Fresnel spotlights. 5

[CRI 95] I love it seems sturdy. But I almost threw out part of the charger so be careful when you are unpacking it. Overall a good choice 5
