This Eartec UltraLITE 2-Person Wireless Intercom 1.9 GHzfrom Eartec UltraLITE 2-Person Wireless Intercom 1.9 GHzincludes one UltraLITE Single-Ear Master headset, one UltraLITE Single-Ear Remote headset, two rechargeable LiPo batteries, a two-port charger, and a soft-side case. It is designed to accommodate two people who need to communicate wirelessly while simultaneously working with their hands. This configuration is intended for use in Australia.

The UltraLITE headsets have the transceiver built right inside the ear-cup, eliminating headset wires and belt-worn radios. They provide two-way voice communication and the microphone arm can swivel 270° allowing you to wear the mic on the left or right side. Raising the mic boom into the up position automatically mutes the microphone.

A: The system is linked simply by first turning on the headset labeled "Master," and then turning on the other satellite headsets. The master headset will flash a blue light to search for the others in the system, which will also show a flashing blue light. When the the lights on all of the units show solid blue, then they are synced.

A: More headsets can be added.

Q: 3. If I work in a place where there are other equal teams, is there a problem? Each batch has different ip address number ?

A: These products do not have IP addresses. They work via RF signals. You may work with 3 separate systems simultaneously.

Q: 4. Is there a muting function on the microphones?

A: Yes, the microphone on the Eartec UltraLITE headset has an internal switch that automatically mutes the mic when the boom arm is moved so it points straight up.

Q: 5. my ideal camera production involves 4 cameras and a director,can i have at-least 5 headsets?

A: You can have up to 7 but you need the additional hub for this system. Search for the other Eartec products and find the one for 5, 6, or 7.

Q: 6. Can two or three intercom systems be combined (daisy chain or?) somehow to extend the number in the group beyond 6? My group ranges from 15 - 20. Thanks!

A: 7 users max in one location with the UltraLITE system. 6 wireless, with one additional wired to the HUB. Not expandable currently.

A: Yes, it works flawlessly. I use it in theater environment. All 5 headsets respond with clarity and volume.

A: The USA version of the Eartec system will work in Mexico.

A: Yes it is. It works beautifully. Both parties can communicate with each other simultaneously.I have the 4 unit system. one Master and 3 remotes.It comes with an 8 dock battery charger in a carry case.

A: Thank you for your question. You can expand this system with 2 more headsets buy purchasing 2 more remote units (B&H # EAULSR). You can use up to 5 without purchasing the eartec hub.

[6.0] I read multiple reviews of the Eartec UltraLITE Headsets prior to purchasing. My first impression after unboxing was that these feel more like a toy than a production environment tool. The $22 battery replacement cost also is a bit of a red flag. It's a proprietary battery so third party batteries aren't an option. In the past I've had to rely on hand signals or my production team members actually paying attention to move from live interviews to prerecorded scenes during livestreams. Not anymore. These simply work, despite their amateur appearance. Since they operate on the 1.9 GHz spectrum, I've never experienced dropouts or interference when in use. You can't toss them around like regular headphones. They not as well built as headphones. Keep them in the protective case when not in use and remove the batteries as recommended when not in use. I'm sure other companies make a better built headset, but at a much higher cost. If you treat them with care and follow the recommendations, these should provide you with several years of worry-free operation. 5

[Headband] These are great coms on a budget. I had an issue with one of them pairing out of the box. The Eartec customer service number is right on the soft carrying case, they walked me through the programming process in a couple minutes to get all four up and running. I will definitely add another headset and down the road upgrade to the hub when I need it. 5

[2] We've only had this system for a few weeks at our church, but it has made a huge positive impact for our production team. We have tried using walkie-talkie solutions, but they didn't come close to what we needed. It was worth the price to be able to have everyone on the same page throughout auditorium and backstage areas. We have a large space with concrete walls that aren't always the easiest for things like Wifi and cellphone signal, but these have no problem picking up. 5
