The Barska 10 x 40 Blackhawk Monocular is the first and only monocular I've owned and I am so pleased with it that I'm not looking for another one. I can see birds in flight, and perching at about 100 feet, with crisp clarity. My Barskas give me an even sharper view than my husbands Bausch and Lombs, with far superior eye relief. My husband has a pair of Leicas as well, and I think my Blackhawk gives me just as great a view (really!). This has been true for both daytime and twilight viewing. Couldn't be happier with these.
