The 4-Port DisplayPort Multi-Stream Transport KVMP Switch from ATEN is a DisplayPort KVM switch with a built-in MST hub. It enables users to adopt two console displays from a single DisplayPort 1.2 video source, providing an extended desktop mode and splitter mode at resolutions up to 4K DCI. The integrated USB 3.1 Gen 1 hub delivers data transfer speeds of up to 5 Gb/s for maximizing multitasking operations.

The switching feature allows the KVM switch's focus to be on one computer while its USB peripheral focus is on another computer. This eliminates the need for a separate USB hub or standalone peripheral sharer, such as a print server or splitter. Additionally, the switch allows you to share the audio from each of the connected computers and allows HD audio transmitted through a DisplayPort source.

[4] I have used Aten KVMs for years. Whenever I am looking for one for another purpose or to match upgraded equipment, I always end up buying another Aten. This KVM doesn't disappoint. Are you stuck working from home? Do you have a sweet home computer with multiple DisplayPort monitors? Do you want to be able to use that same setup with a work computer or laptop? If you answered yes to those questions, this is the KVM for you. I bought this for my wife so she can use her dual monitor setup with work and home computers. She love s it. I have the 4 port version for myself, since I have a couple other computers to manage. Simply put, these KVMs just work. 5

[4] Switch worked perfect out of the box. It was purchased mainly to take care of workstation and laptop being connected to the same monitor (ASUS) through DisplayPort. Bonus - now I can use same keyboard. Works great so far. 5

[12.9 x 8.6 x 4"] Since I only needed this for video and keyboard, I haven't tested the way in which it handles audio. But for my needs� (switching between Mac Pro 5,1 and a Macbook Pro) it works fine. I did need two adapters to go from Display Port to Mini Display Port. 5

[5.85 lb] Make sure to actually use the usb output that matches the computer your are testing your mouse+keyboard with. I had the keyboard+mouse not working like some mentioned in other comments/reviews. I contacted the support team which helped me make it work correctly. It's silly but we never know what would have with lack of coffee :) . 5

[5.85 lb] Unlike many KVMs, this thing actually does what it says it can. I'm running two 4K monitors at 60Hz with absolutely no stability issues between a Mac and an Ubuntu machine. Will definitely go for another ATEN box if my needs change. 5

[Metal, plastic] I would recommend this to anyone with dual monitors and two pc’s. The only issue I had was that Windows 7 kept adjusting the displays when I switched between computers. It was a real annoyance to find all my windows, icons and screen resolutions messed up every time I switched. I finally after about a week of annoyances found a setting in my catalyst control center to disable display polling which fixed the problem for me. 5
