This ZEISS 4-16x44 Conquest V4 Riflescope with Z-Plex Reticleis engineered for hunting and shooting at longer ranges and in low-light conditions. While its 4-16x magnification allows you to zoom in on distant targets, the wide 44mm objective lens will generate bright and high-contrast images in most lighting conditions. The Z-Plex Reticle 20 in the second focal plane features four tapered posts with a thin crosshair. It is recommended for long-range shooting in daylight. Impact point adjusts at 1/4 MOA per click, with an external one-turn locking turret with ZEISS Ballistic Stop to ensure an absolute and positive return to zero. The optical system is outfitted with precision elements, made from high-definition optical glass and treated with T* multi-coatings, which produce a high light transmission and create bright and sharp images. The exterior lenses are coated with LotuTec hydrophobic film to bead water and resist skin oil and other contaminants. A side-focus dial corrects parallax from 50 yards to infinity. The aluminum housing is crafted with strength, durability, and precision in mind. It has a 30mm maintube and offers waterproof, nitrogen-filled fogproof, and submersible performance.

[-3.0 to +3.0] Overall this a very well designed scope. I was somewhat disappointed that it was made in Japan instead of in Germany. My only complaint with this scope is the windage, elevation and parallax turrets. The windage and elevation turrets lack an easily resettable zero feature. The turret cap must be removed in order to set your zero. The parallex turret lacks yardage markings. There are only rectangular shaped markings on the turret cap. When I contacted Zeiss about this their reply was Just change the setting on the parallax turret until the distortion goes away. IMO this is a very poor design for a riflescope that costs $1250.00. I want yardage indicators with numerical values that make the parallax easy to set. I also want easy reset to zero turrets. Set windage an elevation, lift the turret cap and reposition it to the zero indicator on the turret cap. Easy, except at Zeiss. The glass is exceptionally clear and the images are sharp. Other than the Parallax adjustment and windage and elevation turret adjustments, this is a very nice riflescope.

[4 to 16x] I replaced a Leupold VX3 with this. I like the roughly 10yrds more of field of view at 4 power. The glass is clear from 4x all the way to 16x and the zoom ring is super smooth. The exposed elevation turret seemed a little large at first but is growing on me and is very easy to use/set new 0. Over all I'm very happy with the scope and think it will last many years. Only thing I'd like to see is it come with flip up caps instead of the rubber band caps.

[30 mm] Mounted on my Rem 700 CDL in 7mm-08. Wanted a precise scope in 50-100 yards for shooting turkeys with neck shots. Addresses the requirement. Nice and clear, plenty of light. I am sure it is more than adequate for more distance, but this is what I bought it for. Good eye relief. Totally satisfied.

[Aluminum] Bought this as a cheap FFP MIL/MIL for a crossover hunting/tactical 300 win mag. Lots of nice features on this scope with a couple of small drawbacks. First the turrets do not physically travel up/down or in/out so once you surpass a full revolution for elevation you have to count rev’s or risk being ~5mils off your zero.
Second the eye box is pretty unforgiving above 12x.
Parallax adjustment isn’t calibrated do don’t attempt to use the marked ranges.
Overall an incredible value for the money but don’t buy it expecting S&B PMii, Khales or nightforce quality glass.

[Aluminum] This scope is the best scope I ever owned. It's perfect for long-range target shooting as well as for hunting. Use it on my Winchester 70 Alaskan .375 H&H. It's an outstanding scope and I really like the illumination and reticle.
