A: I think the weight is around 5 pounds. Even when it's collapsed, it may be too long to fit in an average suitcase.It does not come with a bag. I bought a separate Lastolite bag for it and you can check that separately when flying. Good luck!

A: No it does not have Velcro. it uses a very nice clip to attach to the frame. If you want to attach a mask it would be easy to apply self adhesive Velcro ( Industrial grade), to various points on the frame. for attaching masks. The Velcro would not interfere with attaching cover

[2 lb] I love this diffuser. The 1.5 stop just cuts out too much light. This one is much better for natural light photography. Lastolite clip on system is great too. 5

[38 x 4.3 x 4.2"] I have the small Skylite also but needed something larger to create a large window light effect. This works perfect for that, and the new Rapid connector system make setting up something this large very easy. 5

[2 lb] Very easy to set up and well designed. Carrying case looks super nifty, is the whole thing is light weight and sturdy. Diffusion fabric diffused a lot vs how much light it eats, and the look of the diffusion is very pretty. Same for the silver/white fabric. An ideal addition to any cinematography and/or photography lighting kit that you will use on almost every shoot at least once. 5

[38 x 4.3 x 4.2"] I liked the performance of the previous Skylite but it was way too difficult to set up for field use. Fine if you have an assistant or a truck to transport it assembled. The new clip-on Rapid design now makse it much more portable so I will start using it again. 5
