The Triplett WiFi Hound 2.4GHz 5GHz RF Spectrum Analyzeris a 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz portable RF spectrum analyzer offering comprehensive analysis and reporting functionality for IT and A/V technicians, system integrators, and troubleshooting consultants in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments. Investigate 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz signals, capture snapshots or video, log data, and generate custom-branded, full-color reports.

The large 10" color touchscreen displays detailed waveforms and AP information, and delivers easy access to options such as refresh rate, RSSI view range, and wireless channel. Connect the mini-HDMI port to an external monitor for convenient screen mirroring. Utilize the micro-USB port and the provided micro-USB male to USB Type-A female adapter to transfer large video files or data logs to an external drive (available separately).

An internal battery keeps you untethered for up to nine hours. Recharge or power the WiFi Hound via the supplied AC adapter. A carrying case is included for safe and simple transport.

A: According to the manufacturer's website, the Powerex C9000Pro Professional Charger-Analyzer supports Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) and Nickel Cadmium (NiCD) batteries. They do not list compatibility with Lithium-Ion batteries.

[10" / 25.4 cm] I got the bad news the first time I used the CTX200- the cat6 cable had some serious issues. No wonder my Ubiquiti access point wasn't working. Trouble shooting is over and time to snake another cable. Loved the Triplett and recommend it. 5

[Up to 9 hours] Pro is a nice upgrade to RF Explorer. Touch screen works well and resolution is excellent. Ability to remote access via smartphone or PC works well and is very handy. I had trouble finding an Ethernet to USB-A interface that would work. Software still has bugs, but nothing catastrophic. I look forward to future firmware upgrades. Being able to run a frequency coordination analysis directly from the unit is great. I'm not sure about its accuracy though. The one I ran for 8 Sennheiser wireless mics place two 100KHz apart which is too close. Spacing for the others was fine. I definitely recommend the RF Explorer Pro. 5

[10" / 25.4 cm] I purchased the WIFI Hound to troubleshoot a large gym environment to find conflicting WIFI channels and Bluetooth. The graphing and spread sheet style data showed me all the conflicting channels so I could clear the problem. The WIFI Hound worked flawlessly. I have to watch my business partner to make sure he doesn't walk of with it he likes it so much. 5
