The IK Multimedia iRig Keys I/O integrates a 25-note full-sized keyboard with a professional 24-bit / 96 kHz audio interface with balanced stereo and headphone outputs, plus a combo input jack for line, instrument, or mic input (with phantom power).

The keyboard controller offers a fast, synth-action keybed and features one volume/data push knob, four touch-sensitive control knobs on two banks (acting as 8 total controls), and eight multicolored, velocity-sensitive pads. There are 2 fully programmable touch-control strips acting by default as pitch and mod controls, allowing for dramatic performances in any genre and doubling as fully programmable sliders.

The iRig Keys I/O is an Apple MFi keyboard controller (Made for iPod, iPhone, iPad,) and is guaranteed to work out of the box with all iOS devices including the latest generation of iPhone 10. The included Lightning cable allows for straight plug-and-play with Apple iOS devices. The USB cable connects Mac and Windows computers. The controller can be powered via USB or by the included AA batteries. Additionally, an optional power supply adapter is available that not only powers the iRig Keys I/O, but also keeps your device charged simultaneously. Optional accessories are available including a padded carry bag and the iRig Keys I/O Mic with a sturdy gooseneck.

The iRig Keys I/O ships with IK software and apps for creating complete, finished productions out of the box including the full SampleTank 3 sound and groove workstation, Miroslav Philharmonik 2 CE orchestral workstation, Syntronik Pro-V vintage synthesizer, and T-RackS Deluxe mixing and mastering suite. The IK Multimedia iRig Keys I/O ships with a lightning to mini-DIN connection cable, a USB to mini-MIN connection cable, an iPhone/iPad stand, and four AA batteries.

Q: 1. if I want to livestream with my iphone 7plus on facebook, using external mic and irig pro I can control sound for livestream and it would work seamlessly?

A: You can control the input gain on the microphone which would affect the volume in Facebook Live but it's not a pure volume control. But it should still work fine, I know many people using Pro I/O for Facebook streaming with no issues.

Q: 2. How would I connect a USB keyboard controller to the iRig Pro I/O when using it with an iPhone X and running Garageband iOS? Thanks

A: If you keyboard controller is MIDI compatible, you can connect it to the iRig Pro using the included MIDI cables. The product manual shows the included cables on page 3 and the connections for a keyboard controller on pages 6 and 7. Q: 3. If I were to run this connected from a mixer to an iPhone for streaming purposes, could I use phantom power from the mixer to power the iRig?

A: The iRig is not able to be powered via Phantom Power at this time. The iRig Pro I/O can however offer Phantom power to a connected Condenser Mic.

Q: 4. Can I pug and play the iRig Pro to my iphone X? Or do I need an app to make it all work?

A: Hey Paul, Yes, the iRig Pro I/O will be Mac compatible and work with software like GarageBand.

Q: 6. What does the headphone output hear? Is it the Input before the preamps, the Output after the preamps, or is it used just for listening to a replay?

A: The headphones can either monitor the post mix or with the direct monitor switch engaged, the dry signal.

Q: 7. Will the iRig pro work with Android phones too?

A: Yes, the IK Multimedia iRig Pro I/O Audio and MIDI Interface is compatible for use with iPhone, iPad, Mac and Windows computers, as well as with Android devices. Just make sure that you use the correct adapters to enable compatibility. For an Android phone with a USB-C connector, you can use the IK Multimedia USB Type-C to Mini-DIN Cable - 23.6" (B&H # IKIPCBUSBCMD).

A: The iRig Pro DUO will connect via the Lightning port and does transmit a stereo signal to the iOS device.

[17.05 x 12 x 4"] I am novice guitarist who has only guitars and an amp but does not have any pedals. I want to try some effect pedals but don't want to make so many errors to find the right ones. I know some good multi-effects pedals but they also cost me at least around $150. This product is just right one for me! This item allows me to explore all the different effects available in Amplitube. I highly recommend this one for those who start to play the electric guitars with a limited budget. So great!! 5

[17.05 x 12 x 4"] This little device is easy to use and has great clean sound. Plugged it into tone bridge to practice and was set to go! Built on a metal case it’s study. Not too happy about the middle button as it’s rubbery and doesn’t provide good feedback but not a big deal. Wish it had a USB-C instead of micro USB and could have used another amp output rather than just a headphone jack. 5

[4.49 lb] I used it with my iPhone 7 because I sold my Canon 5D3. It makes my iPhone 7 seem like a professional device. It seems to know how to create 48V of phantom power needed and with not programing and zero apps the iPhone and sennheiser (SP) are married to perfect use for my audition tapes . I hear that lovely 416 throaty, deep, and theatrical sound on my video. 5

[17.05 x 12 x 4"] Received my I/O and immediately plugged it in, I was blown away at the easy steps to adjust the quality output. The Green/Amber/Red lights help and are very much a reflection of what is actually going out. I found playing on the edge of green with an occasional very light amber flicker produced what I wanted. I have now done over 25 IG Live and Zoom sessions using the device. It is exactly what I wanted. It produced exactly what I was looking for as a DJ. I almost forgot to mention how very simple it is, going straight from either Master or Booth Outputs on my Pioneer DDJ SX2 into the iRig I/O and into my iPhone for IG and just as easy going to the USB on the Laptop running the Zoom session. NO REGRETS. 5

[4.49 lb] I use this with my ipad 7th gen 10.2 for recording with minimal gear and it has produced a clean audio signal. i highly recommend the product and plus it comes with apps from the ikmultimedia website 5

[ Not Included] I’ve been using IK Multimedia audio software for years on a Windows PC platform. This was my first hardware purchase in order to use my iPad as a portable recording studio. You can use the iRig HD 2 to get extremely low latency when using and recording with your iOS apps (and also Windows PC platform) but my primary reason for this purchase is to have a robust yet compact portable audio interface for recording my guitar. IK Multimedia is well known for being makers of high quality audio software and hardware and this inexpensive interface is no different. It’s made of robust plastic and will allow you to connect to a several connecting ports like iOS lightning interface, USB, USB-C and also comes with the necessary cables for each! I plug my guitar into the iRig and run a cable from the amp output direct to my amp. I then plug a lightning cable from the iRig to my iPad. I use an app from Jam Origin called MIDI Guitar 2 which allows me to use my guitar as a real-time MIDI controller to then play my virtual synths. I then run the headphone output of my iPad to the monitors for the accompanying sounds. This is a great inexpensive interface that you will get a lot of mileage from. 5
