[Closed-Back] Works great and really intuitive to use. There's plenty of video reviews and demos on the net to help learn the workflow for noobs like me. It's portable and great for spur of the moment ideas and helps get started learning electronic music without too many distractions. 5

[-42 dB] The Novation Circuit Tracks is by far the greatest groovebox ever built. I bought the original Circuit the week it came out in 2015, fell in love instantly, and over the years trained myself to sequence better parts. The Circuit Tracks is a fantastic follow up with two additional MIDI lanes, newly added scene functionality, and an expanded sequencer featuring step duration for each individual pattern. The sound engine appears the same as on the original Circuit but the original Circuit had a bit of digital hum to it and that has completely been removed. The delay and reverb effects are quite useful at low settings for creating ambience and at longer settings quite useful at creating washes of sound. All the knobs make real-time tweaking a joy and all the macro knobs can be recorded in your sequences for looped use. The Novation Components editor is quite good for patch design and as a librarian for backing up your sessions. I wasn't able to use my microSD card with this, as it wouldn't usually stay in and, when I did get it in, it would not copy my entire session to a new session slot. I do think this was a defect of my unit and not a consistent hardware error. This thing is great for the studio and perfect for DAWless jams but my dream is to really get nitty gritty with it and tour with it. I believe that's what Novation would want. 5

[Closed-Back] These are durable headphones, what sold me is that cables are user replaceable, they twist and lock on, and you can have the cable come down on the left or right side. Just about everything's modular, if you want pads that cover your ears, you just swap them out, same with the drivers. Mind you these are designed for DJing, so they're loud and bassy, with strong isolation of outside sound. If you just want to listen to music, I'd suggest you get the other ones with different drivers and over the ear pads. You can also switch out the cable to one with a mic if you want to use it with your smart phone. I've had mine for a year, so far so good. Also I like the fact that they care about sourcing raw material sustainably. So despite their higher price, I figured I'm investing for quality and longevity! 5

[112 dB] To me, this was the only solution I could find to go truly wireless with a stereo signal from a keyboard or mixer; the headphones are comfortable enough and pairing the transmitter and receiver was easy; It appears to handle organ and bass signals reasonably well; I did have an initial issue with static or pops but proper adjustment of volume levels seems to have solved the problem; So far, I'm very pleased with the headphones; 5

[32 Ohms] I haven't even watched the videos on how to properly use this groovebox yet, and I'm already having so much fun. It's my first after researching different samplers and grooveboxes. [32 Ohms] I've had the TMA-1 Studios for nearly 10 years now so it was time to upgrade and these do not disappoint! More clarity in the upper mid-range and with the 'new' material for the ear cups the bass response is clean and accurate in a way that the precious model fell short. Now I just need to learn these some more to get the most out of them. I mostly use them to both mix and master and have already got great results! Delivery was uneventful as ever with B&H.
