The white Electro-Voice EVOLVE 50 Portable PA Column Array is part of the EVOLVE 50 portable PA system, which consists of a powered subwoofer, magnetic speaker pole, and the column array. The column array utilizes eight 3.5" neodymium drivers with a custom-designed waveguide, which provides consistent (120°) horizontal coverage. The column speaker array is powered by the subwoofer's integrated 1000W amplifier, which delivers 500W to the column array.

System setup is simple and fast. Slide the magnetically locking mounting pole into the appropriate hole on top of the subwoofer, then place the column speaker array on the pole. You don't have to run cables between the sub and speaker array; audio connectivity between them is made via internal cabling in the mounting pole. The column array ships with the sub pole and a carrying case.

[1000 W ] This is a very well built case. The casters are very strong and it rolls great!! The lower compartment has extra room for cables if you need. I do wish the lower compartment was on the top. That way I could take things out if I need and I would make it easer to load the bass speakers. 5

[127 dB] This padded cover fits perfectly. Looks great too. I think the Ev evolve 50s are a work of art. I want to keep them scratch free as long as possible. I recommend this cover to anyone who has an evolve 50. B&H shipped it super fast. 5

[127 dB] I have been using this as my new walkaround speaker, and it works great. It comes with me throughout my morning routine as I catch up on podcasts and playlists, and I like that I don't have to worry about it getting wet. Ideal size and weight allow it to fit nicely wherever I place it. There are no issues with connectivity, and I haven't had to charge it yet after a week's use out of the box. It's doing everything I'm asking for a $20 speaker. 5

[127 dB] the EV Evovle's (I have the 30M) are perfect for smaller gigs. I can use two array's for up to 100, and if it's a really intimate affair a single array can cover a room with 30 to 50 people. Setup is easy, using a tablet as a mixer makes it even moreso. As many have reported, the mids when used in the default setting are weak but you can bolster it by adjusting the EQ in the mixer app. 5

[127 dB] Our Paired Down duo was looking for a quick & easy column for smaller venues. (Our QSC system is fabulous, but a whole other level of load in, setup, tear-down, and load out.) As a keyboard-based cover duo, we were concerned about relying on a single column 30M—especially at the low frequencies. We didn’t want to have to add a subwoofer or 2nd column, but moving to a 50M would have been a big increase in $$ and weight. Bottom line: the 30M is just fine for us. Oh; we needed this fast and B&H free overnight delivered. Highly recommended. 5
