The Brunton TruArc 10 Glow Global Compassis a globally balanced compass designed for adventure racers. It provides an accurate reading anywhere with a rare-earth magnet that resists interference and will not lose polarity. Its 1°-resolution azimuth dial, north-pointing needle, direction-of-travel arrow, and vial bottom will glow in the dark for up to 8 hours. Quick reference cardinal points and high visibility clings deliver information quickly, even in low-light settings. The TruArc 10 has a reversible slide scale, GPS confidence circles, a magnified readout and a double-gauge base plate.

A: All compasses point ti magnetic north.

A: The Manufacturer Warranty does not apply for the Bushnell 7x50 Marine Binoculars with Compass (Blue) used model. The B&H used model is going to have a 30 day Used warranty that can be upgraded up to 3 years .

A: According to the MFR the load limit is 400 LBS evenly distributed.

Q: 10. if I order the truss, do I get all of the parts to assemble the truss or do I buy them separately??

A: It is complete. It comes with all the items to create the arch and the base. It does not come with any clamps for your lights. There are many different kinds and it depends what you are attaching to the truss.

[0.165 lb] I wanted to try out the new rare earth magnetic needle, which is supposed to be more stable, and less effected by near by metals. I haven't had this compass long enough to prove or disprove this claim. The compass housing is classic Brunton design. When closed the lid fully covers the compass base. The lanyard attaches at the lid hinge, which causes a problem laying the compass flat on the map unless the lanyard is tucked into the open space between the hinge and compass base. Sighting a land mark with the mirror is similar to other mirror compass designs. Sighting with the lid laid flat would be enhanced if there was a white sighting line on the inside of the lid below the notch. The needle settles reasonably quickly. When closed the rounded corners give it a nice comfortable feel in the hand. If it doesn't develop a bubble, as some previous Brunton compasses I've owned have done I will be happy with this compass. It also comes wtth 2 Topo Buddy Universal Scale Cards. Sandwiched between heavier stock cards to protect the scale cards. That are riveted at one corner so they can pivot out for use, which is open to permit attachment of a lanyard. The 2 scale cards cover most commonly used scales and also include UTM grid scales. The cards are to large to fit inside the lid, they measure 6.2 cm x 9.1 cm. approximately the size of the compass base. 5
