[Yes] At first glance this Gimbal head is very sexy and beautiful. The carbon Fiber is slick. The movements are smooth and the adjustability is easy. The addition of the screw on video stick was a great idea and make video more stable and better to use. Most of all it's so good to travel with. Light weight and compact and worth its weight in gold. Great Product!

[1x 1/4"-20 Male] The Carbon ZR is top-notch in build quality. Everything is either carbon fiber or precision-machined aluminum. It is extremely sturdy yet surprisingly lightweight, which is the main reason I bought it. I like the fact that it mounts lens on the side rather than at the bottom, similar to my Kimberly monogimbal. This one I'm using on a tripod while I use the Kimberly monogimbal on a monopod.

One thing to note though, large lenses like a 600mm f4 will be slightly off-centered after mounting. That is, because of the side-mount configuration, the long axis of the lens gets pushed slightly beyond the the center position of the tripod plate by the height of the lens' foot. But since I'm using a bigger tripod, this doesn't seem to jeopardize stability so far and is not a deal breaker for me.

I'm using it with the Wimberley AP-616 lens foot, and it fits like a glove. The tension-adjusting knob for the Arca mount is on the tighter side; it's not easy to tighten or loosen, but you can be rest assured that the camera is secured more than enough when it's properly fastened. The tension knob for panning, the one near the gimbal base, came detached by default. Attaching it is not difficult at all. Overall, I highly recommend this product.

[110°] The Zenelli Compact Carbon ZC is a good size, light weight gimbal. It feels warm in your hand, unlike the aluminum gimbals. The tilt head is solid built, no wobble; the swing movement is positive and viscous. It feels like hydraulic action. The pan head at the bottom is strong and the gimbal turns with no sign of wobble. The gimbal secures the standard QLZ L-plate well. The gimbal design with carbon fiber is elegant and a beauty. Recommended.

Two small comments about the use of the ZC gimbal:
(1) When pressing the locked QLZ plate downward with my thumb, the plate shows a slight bending. The applied downward force is light. A heavy camera on the gimbal may cause a drift from the horizontal level
(2) The center of quick release bracket on the QLZ is not in line with the axis of the pan (vertical) rotation. Additional plate design is needed to align the camera axis with the pan axis, as shown in the pictures. The shift is about 9mm (Zenelli to confirm the exact shift).

The Zenelli Carbon ZC gimbal will widen its application if the design is upgraded with the two comments above.

[1x 1/4"-20 Male] This Carbon finer Gimbal Head works flawless and the weight savings for me is worth it's weight in gold. I found the unit to be of excellent craftsmanship and does all it is written up to be. I would recommend this Gimbal to any of my friends without hesitation

i added arca plate from down, wich i wished to be part of the item .


i added  hydraulic pano head to get more smooth panning ( this should be part of the item )


i don’t like the keys , its gives a cheap choice , small , soundy .


so much expensive, should be bater than this standard

[1x 1/4"-20 Male] Having used this for 4 years this is an update. It took me a awhile to set the clamping mechanism ( QR lever etc) and for this have it 4 stars - worked it out pretty wuickly and now think this is by far and away the best gimbal out there

Expensive less but super light ribust and a joy to use. I have Joni Wimberley and all the rest in the search for perfection - this is it

[3.05 lb] The Zenelli Gimbal is a very slick designed gimbal that is easy to travel with. Its lightweight, sturdy construction allows it to carry the heaviest super telephoto lenses without losing its fluent movability. This gimbal has a quick release system which works great and it doesn't lose any performance in the weather or extreme temperatures. Most of all it's glossy carbon fiber appearence makes it an attractive piece of equipment to carry your gear around with.

[1x 1/4"-20 Male] I actually own the Zenelli CarbonZX model. I ordered this model by mistake, returned it and purchased the ZX. The feature I absolutely love about the ZX is the Save Lens feature that holds the lens in place even if the knob is loose, to enable you to move your tripod then quickly flips open to allow free movement of the gimbal head.

[Yes] Bought this for my spotting scope. It's super light, fantastically made and a pleasure to use. Tha pan and tilt controls are smooth as silk and the pan bar works great

The fine control it provides was instantly noticeable when out birding today. I have 3 Zenelli Gimbals and all are fantastic the ZX the Kevlass and now this - accept no substitute. I have tried many other gimbals and Zenelli are head and shoulders above anything else


One note the enclosed plate is a poor design as has no anti rotation function but very minor quibble
