[0.275 lb] This item is truly overkill for what it does but it is simply the best. Super secure and nice silky feeling when putting it on and taking it off the camera. Nicely machined and will last for several lifetimes. You could hand this down to your kids and grand-kids it's made that well. If you are the kind of person that doesn't mind spending $$$ for a really cool object then this is definitely for you. 5
