Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does it work in the ATR 3350 Audio technica?

A: I'm afraid not. That clip is designed to hold the mic itself the ADX10 is 10 mm in diameter. The ATR 3350 is 8 mm in diameter. Not a good fit. Try a B&H link toa href= http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/885752-REG/auray_tc_olm10_tie_clips_for_olm_10.html/pageID/accessory target= _blank http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/885752-REG/auray_tc_olm10_tie_clips_for_olm_10.html/pageID/accessory/aThis clip will hold the cable as opposed to the entire mic. Should fit fine.

Q: 2. Is this able to hold the SureSM7B Cardioid Dynamic Vocal Microphone, which weighs 1.69 lbs?

A: Yes, on just the vertical pole this will be able to hold an SM7B.

Q: 3. Can this be used with other than Audix mics?

A: It's actually a bit more complicated that John P's answer. You have to make sure the polarity on the mic you want to use is matched to the polarity of the power supply. I bought this power supply intending to use it with a non-Audix mic but the polarities were not matched and I only got a very faint, noisy signal. Bought an Audix mic and it works great.

Q: 4. Could this item be used with AKG lavalier mics?

A: Not at all. It is compatible with these Audix Microphones only: ADX10, ADX40, ADX60, HT5, ADX10FL, HT2, ADX20i and Micro-D

Q: 5. Does this work with Sennheiser ME-2 Microphone Mic Lavalier?

A: No. It seems to only be compatible with Audix mikes. I bought one to use with a Shure Beta 54 mic, but it doesn't work - even though they both have the mini-XLR connector, the Shure has one more pin than the Audix. The Sennheiser ME-2 has a 1/8 connector, so it wouldn't work with the Audix adapter at all.

Q: 6. What is the weight capasity?

A: This supports up to 15kg - 33lb.

Q: 7. Does the 50 microboom come with a clutch (to connect the boom to a mic-stand) ?

A: The Audix MicroBoom Carbon Fiber 50 Boom attaches to any microphone stand with the included MCBOOM mic stand adapter. This adapter allows for the total control over the angle, rotation and position of the carbon fiber boom.

Q: 8. The input connector is listed as mini XLR female - according to pics online, it is mini XLR Male, which would make sense. Can anyone confirm?

A: Obviously it's a mini XLR male! And the stuff does its job perfectly. I use it with my Shure condenser head-microphone (with an adapter cable from ta4f to ta3f)...

Q: 9. Can this be used with condenser podium mics such as the Shure Centraverse CVG18-B/C?

A: This adapter is meant to be used with specific Audix mics utilizing a ta3f connection. This would not be compatible with standard XLR mics like the Shure CVG18-B/C.

Q: 10. Is this also switchable to 220V as stated on website?

A: This operates at 110V only as stated on out website. Power 2 x 48V Phantom Power Output Operates on 110VAC (IEC Power Cord included).

[Metal] I have been a sound engineer for about 30 years. I have used all the kickdrum mikes in the marked that is worth to mention. When I first discovered the D6 a couple of years ago I knew this is it. This is the mike I have been looking for all these years. Its no longer needed to use two mikes for the kick as I used to, one for the deep and one for the click. This mike got both. I use it both in the studio and live. Its a hit.

[2.4 lb / 1.1 kg] We compared it with several brands and chose the Audix D6 because its capture was the most real and pure.

[Up to 24] I bought this product to use mostly for praise and worship at church. It's so hard to Mic the entire range of the flute with a standard microphone. This goes on easily, and has not scratched my flute whatsoever. I am currently using an audio technica microphone, and it fits in this piece even though it's made for another brand. It has made a huge difference, and our sound guy, who also happens to be my husband, has been able to turn me down overall and capture the full range of the flute.

[Up to 24] I have used the D6 on 3 shows with many more to come. It does just what it was designed to do. 6 to 8 inches away from the beater head in line with the beaters. It has made a great difference in our sound and has surprised a few sound guys who are fans of other mikes. I have no complaints. It is easy to use as you have very little adjustments on the mixing board

[2.4 lb / 1.1 kg] The previous version of this clip was very flimsy and difficult to fasten to the flute. The new version is sturdier, fits easily, and provides a sturdy connection to the flute head joint.

[2.4 lb / 1.1 kg] I’ve been wanting a way to attach a condenser microphone to my flute for years, and this little device fits the bill perfectly. Perfect for nominally acoustic settings where the sax and clarinet are present enough without amplification, but the flute requires just a bit to be heard above the rhythm section, if you already own a small condenser mike as I did, this is ideal. Yes
