This ORCA Mounting System for 7" Monitor with Hood & Strapfrom ORCA Mounting System for 7" Monitor with Hood & Strapoffers an all-in-one solution for mounting, protecting, and storing most 7" monitors and accessories. The system is built with a wide, padded over-the-head neoprene strap and a monitor mounting system with an integrated hood.

A 1/4"-20 screw mounts your monitor onto the strap. When the neoprene strap is folded, it protects the monitor from hits and scratches. The pocket at the bottom of the strap helps contain the 7" monitor, and the strap goes inside a small neoprene bag for extra security.

Q: 2. Will this fit in an overhead bin if you keep a bag attached to it?

A: Dear Jeff,Thank you for your interest in our Orca bags products. In general it depends on the size of the bag. If the bag with the trolley is smaller than the airline certificate size it will fit. It goes without saying that you can always remove the trolley from the bag in case it will be bigger then the certificate size.

Q: 3. does this fit the c100 mark ii?

A: In consulting with the distributor, they have yet to test this with the Canon C-100 Mark II. But it is my opinion that this will work satisfactorily as you intend. If not, there is the B&H 30 day return policy available to you.

Q: 4. What Orca LCD Hood works on a Panasonic Lumix G7?

A: Based on the stated interior dimensions your monitor should fit, however, the manufacturer does publish the following disclaimer on our product page: This bag will fit most 5" monitors, but not all. No other information is available about this at the time.

A: The platform of the ORCA Trolley System BH #OROR70 is about 17x12".

Q: 7. Can I drop the 2 step corner mast riser which i currently have in my apollo into the the corners of this system?

A: No, the Inovativ Insight Monitor Mounting System for Apollo 40 & Two Pro Ultra Arms, B&H # INVM40I2PUA2, is not designed to be used with the Inovativ 2-Stage Corner Mast Riser, B&H # IN500627.

Q: 8. Is the outside surface of the strap the smooth loop velcro or the rougher hook velcro?

A: Rubber, non-slip surface on the inside. Smooth loop Velcro on the outside. The rubbery base layer also provides a bit of stretch so that it holds on with a bit of tension.

Q: 9. is there a side pocket large enough to fit a water bottle?

A: The side pocket on the ORCA Wheeled DSLR Trolley Case with Backpack System is not large enough for a water bottle.

Q: 10. Have they been able to confirm this works with the C100 mkII?

A: Sorry, but that test has not occurred. But as we said before, we feel confident it should work since both camera's LCD screen are 3.5 and very similar in size. If you are not satisfied, you have 30 days for a return to B&H. In that case, please save the packaging and contact B&H Customer Service.

[7" Monitor] Ive own several hoods until now they all end in the trash after a while, THIS IS Good not only really shades the light but is well made, seems durable, besides the rubber strips because of its design are easy to replace in the years to come, Good Purchase. 5

[7" Monitor] Most hoods and loupes are over-priced and ineffective, so many of us try DIY-ing, which is usually just more cheaply ineffective. This Orca hood is NOT expensive and has its elastic band attached to a plastic cable running around the base, instead of directly to the fabric. The cable seems to stabilize and spread the hood's point-of-contact further around the LCD screen, and the elastic band can slide to the diagonal if that helps to seat the hood on the screen. I use this hood on my Sony PXW-X70 (it was recommended in the camera's user group on FB). The X70 has a touch-screen focus/meter shift function, and this hood is relatively deep, so I use a pencil eraser to touch the screen and rack-focus when outdoors. So far, it's great. Little to no little light leak. Only caveat: the hood has Velcro patches inside it to flatten it for storage, and when mounting it, it takes a while to remind the corners they are meant to be squared. Storing it open in your camera bag with batteries and lens cleaning supplies inside it helps. 5
