[0.35 lb] This is a great bag, very high quality all around. However it takes some modification for use with a Zoom F8; it really appears to designed more around a SD633. I considered the OR-28 bag (designed around the Zoom F8) but wanted more room so I went with this bag and made significant modifications to optimize the bag for the Zoom F8 including: cut off the bottom center span of the bag (blocks access to F8 battery compartment), removed tie down hooks and replaced with a ring that attaches to the F8's 1/4-20 point, replaced the lift brackets with the included foam blocks for the F8 to rest on. The lift brackets are too thick for a bag that is so small. You would have to displace the center divider too far forward to use the lift brackets, losing all that room just for the lift brackets. The included foam blocks are too long for use with the F8, they block the battery compartment. Recommend cutting one of the blocks in thirds, removing the middle third for the battery compartment. Then pivot the foam in the cloth covering so the velcro is on the bottom and thus the block stands taller. Finally I made a DIY bag insert that holds a mini pad running the Zoom F8 application. Overall the bag is great but it needs some modification to be optimized with the Zoom F8.

[Zipper] This is my first orca bag and what I was really looking for was accessibility and structure. And this works beautifully. I pair this with my Zoom F8n and I’m able to have access to all sides comfortably and my cables are room as well without bending or being strained. Also, having the Orca harness just fits like a glove (obviously) but the operation and freedom this bag allows was just what I needed to keep my mixer in place, accessories maintained in good use, and access to ports when needed. I never have to take the mixer out which is what I was mainly looking for. This bag makes my kit a solid unit to keep my work day moving along smoothly.

[0.35 lb] I bought a Portabrace bag for a Sound Device 302 and it didn't fit very well. B&H took the return and I ordered this bag...Fits perfect mainly because Orca designed it to be easily modified to fit various audio devices.

[0.35 lb] This is a solid audio bag that protects the gear well, and keeps things relatively organized. I know the OR-30 is meant for a slightly bigger mixer like the Sound Devices 633, but its not excessively roomy for the MixPre 10-II. I didn't want to give up some of the features this bag has, for the OR-280 that is sized for the MixPre 10.

[0.35 lb] This thing is solid, lightweight, full of professional features, and looks stylish (and does not scream, There's a camera in here-- steal it!) Aluminum frame makes it crush-resistant, easily customizable inside, built-in lighting is BRILLIANT, comfortable handles and strap, water-resistant... this is a unique bag that's simple and fast to use... far better than anything else I'ver seen. The Orca bags are all amazing, and designed with input from professional photographers, cinematographers and videographers.

[Zipper] 1. Great bag size for the MixPre-10T and visible blue color for locating in the dark.
2. That said, the standard Sound Device 4-pin Hirose AC cable provided with the MixPre-10T is too delicate for any bag, and the cold soldered joint broke upon insertion into the bag. I had a new cable made with a Hirose HR10-7P-4P connector that has a good solder joint on all four pins. The new AC cable will not break with normal use and makes the Orca OR-30 and MixPre-10T a great combo.

[0.35 lb] This is my first Orca bag and Im hooked. The design and quality is incredible. Way beyond my expectations and I have high standards.
