A: It can hold the weight of that large lens and camera well. The issue is that the grip will be far forward from where the camera is, so you will need to extend your arm a lot to press on the grip and move the camera at the same time to set the angles. Also the connection point of the quick release plate is small while the foot of the lens is large, so will be hard to find the plate underneath the foot of the lens. A: it shouldn't make a difference if the remote's battery is the incorrect polarity but try flipping it. see if that works. make sure dolly is fully charged as well
