[140 W Peak ] The sound, build and finish of these is positively incredible. Listening to my music library, with them powered by the marantz model 30 is like hearing it for the first time all over again.

They have a pleasant roll off on highs, so everything is crisp, but nothing feels piercing. Mids are splendid. The low end leaves a little to be desired for sub bass, but that’s expected from this type of speaker. The lows this does cover are powerful and robust.

The one quirky thing about them, is the feet are not attached. They are little spikes and platters that you rest them on. This means it is *always* a two person job to move the speakers. Not an issue, if you don’t move them often, but I could see that being a problem for some people.

Overall though, I simply cannot recommend these enough. They are fantastic.

[55.45 lb] I live in NYC and I've gotten countless complaints from my neighbors of how loud the bass is destroying their livelihood besides the already raging subway system. Yeah its' done it's job.

[6 Ohms] It is a small, black and an unassuming design - in vinyl wrapping not sophisticated real wood but vinyl clad. What I found impressive is that Andrew Jones speaker guru developed these speaker. The B5 is an awesome speaker - the music engulfs your soul with a nice mid-range and not overly heavy on the bass with a beautifully encased tweeter sound. The speakers are holistic in nature allowing everything to come together as a whole. Yes, worth the price , worth the listen, and will give a lot of speaker manufacturers - nightmares

[140 W Peak ] I've only had this sub for a week, but it is amazing how much power it has. It replaced a Yamaha sub that came with my system in 2004. This is very much an upgrade. 10 down firing speaker will make your walls rattle. I've actually had to lower the output for newer digital movies with greater sound seperation. My only knocks on this product which I knew when I bought it are. 1. No built in cross over to use with 2ch. stereo 2. the auto on/off switch is a little loud when it powers off. There is a small pop when the amp shuts down. Over all I am very pleased with this purchase.

[140 W Peak ] Had bookshelf speakers for my HTC, but missed the musicality of my Polk Audios. These are bookshelf size, but are truely as rich as stand alones. For the price range, love to have the sound of music in my room again.

[55.45 lb] Was looking for audio speakers for the system tied into the computer, tuner, everything else that wasn't tied to the home theatre system. These are perfect. Clean sound, clean bass.

[140 W Peak ] If you have are going with an ELAC Debut 2.0 home theater speaker setup, this sub will complete your system with excellent sounding bass.  Great product.

[3-Way] Too many subwoofer brands, too many mixed reviews. It makes it very hard to decide what too buy. For price point and sound quality go for the legend Andrew Jones design.

[Bass-Reflex] These floor speakers are very compact, but they still pack decent bass punch, smooth mids and clear highs

[6 Ohms] Perfect addition to my very small entertainment room. The sound is amazing and the price was great!
