$897.00 $1,237.86

The Tilta Gravity G2X Handheld Gimbal Systemis a single-hand gimbal system that features 360° of rotation in both the pitch (tilt) and yaw (pan) axis. It supports cameras weighing up to 8 pounds. An auto-calibrate function allows the gimbal to tweak its motor settings based on the mounted camera's properties. A downloadable iOS app permits further fine-tuning of the motor settings as well as remote control of individual axes, and wireless time-lapse. Built into the stabilizer is an arm that rides along a rod and mounts to your camera's cold shoe. This provides additional security and stability when mounting your camera on the gimbal. The 45° angled roll motor clears a rear-mounted LCD, making it easier to see the image on the camera's LCD.

Four built-in operating modes allow you to adjust the gimbal to best suit the needs of your shot. The gimbal features a quick release handgrip that holds the batteries (not included), allowing you to minimize the size of the gimbal unit. Dual rosettes offer additional mounting possibilities for accessories or handgrips. A built-in micro-USB connector provides 5 VDC power. Without the battery handgrip, you can power the gimbal from a 14.8 VDC power source. The gimbal is made from aluminum and stainless steel, and features a Brazilian rosewood handle.

Once mechanically balanced, the auto-calibration feature senses the camera payload and configures the motors to the match your camera's configuration.

The Tilta Assistant App (currently iOS only) allows you to individually adjust each motor's torque, dead zone, acceleration, and speed. In addition, the app lets you remotely control the gimbal's axes and set up a wireless time-lapse mode.

  • Pan and tilt (yaw and pitch) follow mode
  • Tilt lock mode
  • Fully stabilized mode
  • Roll lock mode

Each arm features a 7 to 11 cm marking scale, which makes changing cameras or configurations a rapid process, as once you balance a specific camera setup, you can make a note and then reset quickly to match your previous markings.

A: Yes it comes with the banking plate.

Q: 2. Hi friend! Is case included in stock shipment? And Do you have additional two hands grip for this item. Can I buy it in a few days?

A: Yes, B&H # TIGRV02A includes the Safety Case. However we do not have a two hand grip available for this item at this time. At the time of this posting, April 22nd 2018, this is a Special Order Product that takes 7-14 business days to ship.

Q: 3. will a BMPCC 4K fit on this?

A: Yes, the BMPCC 4K will fit onto and will work with the Gravity G2X. Since the camera is very right-side heavy, you need to balance it by putting the tilt motor on the left side of the camera. If you have any questions about exact balancing of the camera, you can reach out to the Tilta support team here: https://tilta.com/support/

Q: 4. Does this have a tripod/mount screw hole in the end of the handle?

A: The balancing plate has 1/4 threads where you can attach your gimbal to a tripod

Q: 5. hi wondering if my dvx 200 would fit on this gimbal ?

A: I haven't used the two together, but I have separately... It would probably be a pretty tight squeeze, but I think it could do it. I wonder if there are Payload dimensions out there that you could find. (Weight distribution could be your biggest problem, not necessarily camera size)

[Lithium-Ion] ... it's an awesome piece of gear! Excellent for the price to get those Arri Trinity type shots.

[18 x 16 x 7"] Having used several hand-held stabilizers, from the original
PilotflyFunnyGO 3-Axis Handheld Stabilizers to Ronin-M, this is certainly the most solidly-built stabilizer I've seen, and able to handle serious loads!

It's ability to carry heavy loads, design allowing access to the LCD panels on the back of most cameras, its seamless operation, and a fast balancing time makes this a stabilizer a serious heavy-weight pro contender. I am using it with a GH5.

They are soon to release their tiny Nucleus-N ("n" for nano) wireless focus puller — a brilliant and super-impact, lightweight focus puller — for this and other stabilizers. A brilliant system, and one costing only 4oo.oo (wireless range 150') this combo will prove to be unbeatable!

The G2X also comes in a small but rugged hard carrying case, and can be used with many non-proprietary rosette-based components, making this a complete stater setup, and a versatile and inexpensive solution. DJI's new Ronin S is probably going to prove to have a few more bells and whistles, but it will also likely cost 3 times as much to own and operate, once you've bought into their wireless focusing solution and proprietary batteries: be warned! And I LOVE DJI's products, but...

I can highly recommend this for anyone's pro gear collection. Just be careful when you flip this for underslung mode. It only works in one direction, but this is an acceptable trade-off for access to the camera's LCD. DJI has already copied this feature, but I doubt that any other single handed brushless 3-axis stabilizer would have stronger (and QUIETER!) motors than the G2X?

3 Thumbs up!

[Lithium-Ion] Simply the best gimbal on the market! I love my Tilta g2x! Not only it looks badass but also is made of high-quality materials and is built like a tank. Works flawless as well. There is nothing like this one on the market. Seriously, one needs to see it for oneself to realize that. What you see in the videos or photos doesn't do it justice. I was praying to get it prior my trip to Hawaii but was told that there was a delay in getting them in stock. Big thanks to Iris who was super proactive and provided me with useful information and to all of the team at Burbank, CA. Customer service is amazing! I love how the gimbal handle looks like a gun handle; can't wait for the TSA X-ray experience.

[6.8 lb] This gimbal is so compact and stable, I'm tempted to shoot an entire feature film - without a crew, on my GH5s, Sennheiser Lavs, the Nucleus-M, Battery powered Quasar Tubes, some talented actors, and "free" locations throughout the city! The G2x makes shooting fun and fast again! It sucks that writing a script isn't has easy as operating this little guy. I can go from underslung to over my head in one move - show me a steadicam op that can do that!

[10 Hours] I have been using my G2x for the past month and I have been loving how small and quick the set up is. I have been using a C200B with a Blackmagic Video assist and the dual powered handle set up. It works great for small run and gun shoots as well as having enough motor strength to fly two nucleus m motors. the three modes are great and for such a small gimbal, it works just as well as the larger ones out there. Paired with my A7sII, its super versatile. Going into low mode is breeze, the battery life is great, I did a full day of shooting and only had to change out the batteries once. Having the rosettes on the side is another awesome feature because i have a lot of rosette accessories that i tend to use with the g2x, Handles, mounting brackets for wireless video, my nucleus m handles, etc.

[18 x 16 x 7"] I have been very happy with this gimbal. I use it with my GH5 and have had very positive results. I have some experience with gimbals and learning how to adapt to the G2X was a breeze. I love how I can use all my old Rosette accessories on it and how I can easily replace the batteries on the gimbal if I run our of juice. I know with the Ronin S you have to buy a separate handle to do this! Battery life is great even with a single charge, I think I had it working for 8 hours and no problem. It doesn't have a problem flying cinema lenses with my PL adapter (I used a couple zeiss super speeds). It was definitely worth purchasing dual handles for longer jobs.

[3.7 VDC] I have this and a Ronin-M for our weddings company... After using this, I see no need to keep our Ronin-M. Will be buying another one of these. Batteries last all day, and when you balance it correctly, it's super smooth. Can't wait til the Nucleus Nano comes out.
