What cables would work for the intended setup and give balanced output to both L&R?

A: The KA-600i is designed for use with smartphones and will not make the proper connection with a standard mic input on recorder or DSLR. Sennheiser offers the standard KA-600 for these applications. In addition when using either adapter cable you must use a battery to power the K6 module.

Q: 10. What is the pinout on this minijack ?

A: This is a phone connector. I use this to connect my Lapel mic to my iPhone and it works good. You can search for 3.5 mm 4-conductor TRRS phone connector , it will give you all the details of the pin out. Hope this helpsAmar

[Matte black] I bought this for mid-side field recording, but it's proved useful in other applications. I was working on a radio drama, and most of the scenes had two actors talking to each other. It was a really convenient, lightweight solution for recording two actors speaking while facing one another. The two separate shockmounts included were also a plus. A really solid, albeit specialized microphone. You get what you pay for. 5

[Matte black] We recently bought the Sennheiser AVX Wireless systems and they have been awesome. We ran into some issues with battery life for longer productions and figured having back ups made sense. The batteries last roughly 6-8 hours depending on usage. 5

[Matte black] I used these mics recently (2 MKH 30s) in a Faulkner array to record an a cappella choral program. I used minimal electronics and minimal DSP. These mics delivered an accurate, musical, and glorious sound. It is an extremely high quality product. 5

[Matte black] This battery will last a very long time, possibly could last up to 15 hours! I would at least have 2 of these per lavalier set and you will be good to go for 3 days or so depending on your production. 5
