A: You could do that, but, if you don't need all of the inputs and features on this mixer, and really just want to connect your turntable to the receiver, this might not be the best solution. A: Both the XLR and RCA outputs will work at the same time. Ususlly the XLR will feed the house PA system and the RCA would feed the monitors in the booth.
