The AXTON AT-56E-S PoE Infrared Illuminator 1200ft Rangefrom AXTON AT-56E-S PoE Infrared Illuminator 1200ft Rangesynchronizes with your camera or other system device. Pulsed mode allows syncing with a camera shutter for industrial, machine vision, and ANPR/LPR applications. The illuminator transmits infrared light at a wavelength of 850nm to a range of 1200'. The illuminator is IP67 rated and vandal resistant, and includes a pan/tilt U bracket for simple installation. You can link multiple MegaPixel illuminators together to increase coverage.

[5.5 lb / 2.5 kg] Added this for my License Plate Camera and it is better than expected with a focused high intensity IR light that reflects off of plates making all plates at night easily readable. See attached photos and note emitters are red and visible just hard to photograph. Also have 2 other Axton IR emitters for the front yard that replaced some cheap IR emitters. The difference in coverage, distance and even spread is night and day. 5

[PoE++ 802.3bt] This really lights up the target area. It was well worth the purchase price. Just realize that it's a large, heavy light. The mount is cheaply made. I don't know who they have making it, but it doesn't have the ATN quality that I expected. I had to re-tap the screw holes just to get it mounted. The adjustments are a little awkward and with heavy recoil it tends to move. 5

[5.5 lb / 2.5 kg] I purchased a few inexpensive illuminators to experiment with and am now replacing them as they burn out. They seem solidly made and provide a lot more light. They also offer a lifetime warranty. There are no intensity or beam pattern adjustments that I can see other than pointing. So its point and shoot. 5

[PoE++ 802.3bt] The Axton AT-25S flood illuminator is exactly what I needed. My cameras with built in IR illuminators would attract insects to the cameras themselves which triggered motion events and alerts at night constantly. Rain also would trigger events on some cameras due to IR reflection off of rain droplets. I mounted the Axton illuminator between and above the cameras so insects would be attracted away from the cameras. The 150 degree pattern is great. I am ordering a second one to flood the other side of the house now. 5

[PoE++ 802.3bt] I did quite a bit of research before making this purchase. I used NVGs and other night vision devices when I was in the U.S. Army. The Axton products are military grade and built like a tank with a lifetime warranty to boot. Plus, they provide world-class customer service.
