Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. On Epson Stylus 7900, would this canvas require photo ink or a switch over to matte ink ?

A: Epson specifies using photo black in the color profile provided for this canvas and the 7900.

Q: 2. What is the brightness on this canvas?

A: Epson does not specify brightness. https://epson.com/For-Work/Paper/Pro-Imaging/Exhibition-Canvas-Natural-Satin-Paper/m/S045405

Q: 3. Does this canvas require a varnish coat?

A: No, it does not require a varnish coat. I have printed many photos all without varnish and they look as good as the day they were printed a few years later. That said, you could varnish them (some yellow over time ...) to help protect against scuffs ...

Q: 4. I'm confused, Canon makes a 44" printer but only sells 42" roll canvas? What am I missing?

A: Even though Canon no longer makes 44 inch wide papers, there are other brands to choose from such as Moab, Inkpress, Canson, etc, that offer a variety of papers in the 44 inch width.

Q: 5. what icc profile would you recommend with an epson p9000 printer? This is pertaining to the epson exhibition canvas satin paper specifically. Thank You!

A: The Epson SureColor P9000 44" Large-Format Inkjet Printer should have the paper profile for Epson Exhibition Canvas Satin Archival Inkjet Paper in the printer driver already. Just make sure you are using the latest driver. This does use Photo Black Ink.

Q: 6. Will this feed into a SureColor P900 using the roll adapter? I've heard few papers actually work well in the adapter.

A: Yes, the Epson Exhibition Canvas Satin Archival Inkjet Paper (17" x 40' Roll) BH #EPECS1740 is compatible with the P900.

Q: 7. I can't find the canvas papers in specs for a Canon TA-30. Can I use this with my printer?

A: Although the Canon TA-30 printer can accomodate media upto 31.5 mil thick, the Canon TA-30 only uses 5 dye inks and would NOT be considered adequate for photographic or art reproduction.

Q: 8. Is it good for acoustic wall panel cover? Is it too dense that may bounce sound back to the room?

A: All the inkjet canvases have a coating on them in order to absorb the ink properly. I believe this may be a factor to unbalance the acoustic panels. aside for that the canvas fabric itself can unbalance the accoustics.

Q: 9. Is this roll paper compatible with the old epson stylus photo 2200 ?

A: It would not be recommended. It is slightly to heavy to run through well over time.

Q: 10. Is Epson Exhibition Canvas Satin Archival Paper compatible with the Epson P6000 printer?

A: yes

[350 gsm] Deeper saturation of colors and tones without the finish presenting as overly shiny, glossy or reflective as some review have stated. Will continue to order and print upon this medium.
