This is a Smith-Victor KQ83 3-Light 1800-Watt Ultra Quartz Location Kit. The Q80 fixtures provide the perfect combination of bright, smooth light, cool operation, and an easy-to-use design, suitable for any photography studio. This fixture throws a broad, flat 100° beam angle from the provided 600-watt lamps. Lamps of other wattages and voltages are available separately.

This kit is rounded out with light stands, umbrellas, brackets, and a wheeled case.

A: As the Smith-Victor CooLED20 LED Light uses the standard Bowens S-mount for light modifier usage, you may use any universal softbox with a Bowens S-mount speedring or a softbox that comes with the Bowens speedring for your usage needs. If you are looking for some economical examples, I would recommend either the FotodioX EZ-Pro Octagon Softbox (36 , Bowens Speed Ring), B&H # FOEP36OBOW, the Phottix Raja Rectangular Softbox (24 x 35 ), B&H # PH82720, or the Impact Softbox - 24 x 32 (61 x 80cm), B&H # IMSB2432.

[1x GZ9.5] I use the Q60 for photo shoots where I want a grainy edgy feel to it, so when it came time to add another light to my gear box, this one was the best bang for the buck. Puts out the right amount of light and gives me the texture I need. 5

[1x GZ9.5] I use this for portrait photography. The umbrellas are perfect for portability and are also excellent shoot thru umbrellas. All of my photos turned out great! I have also used my speedlights with the umbrellas with also great results. 5

[5/8" Receiver] Everything works great! I really recommend this product. Reviews say it's hard to put together but it's not hard if you have common sense. This was my first time buying and working with lighting and set up and break down was easy. There are no instructions but you don't need any. Light stand are not the best (a little flimsy) but you get what you pay for. I didn't want to pay an arm and a leg for my first set of lights but at the same time I need them to last a long time work well. So far, I couldn't be happier. And the carrying case is awesome. Would have been super happy if it came with 3 umbrellas instead of just 2 but I guess now I can buy a different umbrella for the 3rd light to see what works best. 5

[1x GZ9.5] I have been searching for a long time and doing much research into finding the right strobe lights. Its the perfect kit. Also, I have a very small apartment, and these lights barely take up much space! 5

[Yes] I use these lights for film and photography purposes. They create strong bright light and the umbrellas are diffuse the light perfectly. They take a few minutes to set up though and can be tricky to move when completely set up but they are more than worth the effort. 5

[5/8" Receiver] In our industrial environment, we use this lamp for heating our samples up before testing them, unit works great and the light is amazing ! Caution in use and do not leave on for extended periods....melted a piece of plastic bubble wrap in 7 seconds ! 5

[Yes] I ordered this light to help supplement daylight in a shoot. The light worked perfectly and the clients loved how simple it was to warm up the shot. It did get a little hot, but no where near what some of the others do. I highly recommend this product 5
