The Benro BV8 Pro Video Tripod Kit with Cineluxe Roller 21 Caseis a complete tripod system ideal for studio applications and handling larger camera rigs weighing up to 17.6 lb. The kit pairs the 75mm-ball BV8 video head with a twin-leg aluminum tripod. The BV8 head features a 5-step counterbalance system to dial in the correct amount for your setup, and independent 4-step pan and tilt drag settings for precise control over camera movements. A Manfrotto 501/504PL compatible sliding quick release plate is provided. All the main controls aside from counterbalance are located on the left side of the head, making it easy to make adjustments with a single hand while operating the camera. For added versatility, the 75mm ball tie-down stud is removable to convert the head to a flat base for use on a slider or other support device.

The 2-stage, 3-section twin-leg aluminum tripod incorporates a 75mm bowl and offers sturdy support for the BV8 head. It features oversized quick positive leg locks for a simple and fast setup, an adjustable/removable mid-level spreader, and dual spiked feet with removable rubber pads. The tripod system extends to a maximum height of 63" while getting as low as 28". A carry case and shoulder strap are included.

A: Yes, the interior dimensions would allow for you to fit a Macbook Pro on top of your gear.

Q: 2. Can you attach shoulder straps?

A: No, shoulder straps cannot be attached. But the padded handle is leather wrapped to make the bag comfortable to hand carry, even when loaded.

Q: 3. will this fit arri alexa mini LF ready to shoot v fully built with a v-mount battery and prime lens attached?

A: That will depend on the build out of your rig. This case has internal dimensions of 17.00 L x 9.0 W x 12.00 H in inches. You camera needs to be within those dimensions.

Q: 4. What is the difference between this head and the older H8 from Benro?

A: The tripod spreader and legs work much better. The QR plate changed from a top release to a Manfrotto standard. The head's settings are more precise.

Q: 5. Will this bag fit an assembled canon c100 mark ii?

A: The interior height is 7 at a minimum, and 8 through the center channel (between the bars of the handle) when the padded divider is removed. I hope that helps. Just measure your camera height in the configuration you'd prefer and if it's under 8 then it should fit.

Q: 6. Is this size carry-on safe for most airlines?

A: Yes.

Q: 7. Can this bag fit a C300 MK II with lens and monitor?

A: The interior height of the bag is 8.75 inches. The camera will fit without any problems, but the handle and/or monitor will have to be removed from the top. The C300 is taller than virtually every other cinema camera on the market, so it requires a little adjustment in order to fit inside an airline carry-on compatible case.

Q: 8. is the Tenba Cineluxe 21 Hightop carry on compliant?

A: No, unfortunately. The Hightop is 13 inches tall, which exceeds the airline limit. The regular Cineluxe 21 shoulder bag is airline compatible.

Q: 9. If laid sideways, would this fit the DJI Ronin 4D?

A: The DJI Ronin 4D 4-Axis Cinema Camera 6K is 12.2 x 11.4 x 10.9" / 309 x 290 x 277 mm (With Protrusions) and 9.3 x 6.3 x 4.5" / 235 x 160 x 115 mm (Without Protrusions). The Tenba Cineluxe Backpack 21 interior is W x H x D: 11 x 18 x 8.75" / 28 x 46 x 22 cm and can take the camera in its collapsed state.

Q: 10. Hi - dimensions are not clear: what is the height or depth of the case measured from the zippered open (facing upwards) to the floor?

A: 11 inches on the exterior, including the top handle.

[17.6 lb / 8 kg] As the header indicates, this bag had been purchased to avoid having to built out my MKIII in the field, and it does the job with class. That said, the empty bag is more weighty than the camera itself, and is quite bulky ... clearly not something one would relish carrying about. But it does well in a vehicle and provides protective storage. I just wish that the manufacturers would switch to less weighty construction. 5

[Aluminum] My favorite thing about Benro tripods is the carrying case has backpack straps on it so its really easy for videographers who have to travel light. 5

[Aluminum] I have a few different camera setups I use in all my work and this thing works perfectly! From my heavier rigs to just a dslr setup it is great. Love this kit and have used it on every shoot since I have got it. Everything works very smoothly which has been a blessing compared to some kits and being able to quickly adjust the spreader and height with ease! I have had quite a few high end tripods in use and this is now my go-to kit. It is built tough and very precise, love all the adjustments and location of all the knobs to adjust very quickly. Feels lighter than my other sticks and gotta say...it looks great to! The black and highlighted blue featured knobs and feet look pretty cool. Comes with a very nice bag and really happy about this model and its features and will be used a ton to shoot with. So if your looking for a great deal compared to other kits at this level and well above that charge a heck of a lot more, look no further for an overall great piece of kit! 5

[20.2 lb] I first saw the BV6 in Vegas, at NAB, while searching for a tripod that would be a good fit for my Sony FS7. I do a lot of stock and location work and traveling with a high-end Sachlter or Vinten can be a pain. I needed something smaller and lighter that would still give me decent production value. The Benro was about a hundred bucks cheaper than the Sachtler Ace and it had similar features, greater weight capacity and considering B&H's return policy, it was worth taking a chance. Well I'm glad I did. The tripod is well built and professional looking. The movements are very smooth with plenty of controls for tilt, pan and balance. It also has a mid-level spreader that locks in any position, making it perfect for tight shooting areas like on the red carpet. I've been using it on a daily basis and it's an excellent match for the FS7. 5

[28" / 71.1 cm] I have this 21 bag and the larger 24 version by Tenba also. These bags never cease to impress me with their quality construction. This 21 bag is technically built for video cameras but I use it for my Nikon DSLR cameras. I find these bags are much more practical when you want to load up all your camera goodies and not mash everything together. The construction of these bags along with their superior camera protection are the only way to go. These bags also use metal reinforcements for added strength. Tenba is a first class company all the way! 5

[3] This tripos is great. The fluid head has many adjustable settings so you can change the speed at which it pans/tilts/etc. It is super sturdy and super easy to adjust everything. The salesman I talked to encouraged me to get this instead of another one I was looking at and I'm so glad I spent the extra $100 because this is very nice. Do yourself a favor and get a good tripod! 5

[360°] IMO, this is pretty much what you should be looking for in a Dr. Bag. It's rock solid, provides plenty of space and protection for your rig, and unlike the Sachtlers, you can roll it in, and it's significantly smaller. I think the Sachtler version can get too bulky and heavy very easily. That's a shame, especially when you consider it doesn't have wheels. 5
