With a 100% cotton rag base made from a hot press mould, this 50-sheet pack of 20 x 24" Premier Imaging Smooth Fine Art Bright White Paper 500gsmfrom Premier Imaging Smooth Fine Art Bright White Paper 500gsmoffers photographers and artists a smooth matte surface with a high resolution coating that provides a high D-max and wide color gamut. The 500 gsm paper is naturally white with no optical brightening agents, is acid- and lignin-free in its construction, and is alkaline buffered to increase longevity. Also, it has a thickness of 26 mil and is single-sided. Finally, the medium dries nearly instantly and is water-resistant.

A: The Premier Imaging Deluxe Presentation Matte Art Paper is rolled with print side out. If there is ever a problem telling which side is coated, you can use the lip test. Put a corner between the lips and the sticky side will be the coated side.

Q: 7. is there anyway to determine the print side? I took it out of the plastic before checking and am not sure if I put it back right

A: Regarding the Canon Premium Fine Art Smooth Photo Paper (8.5 x 11", 25 Sheets), try flipping the top sheet over and comparing the back of the top sheet with the next sheet in the stack. The brighter of the two sides would be the print side.

Q: 8. Which settings should I use in my Pixmia Pro 200? "Matte" or "Heavy Art Paper" ?

[22.165 lb] I got this 100% cotton fine art mat paper at half price. I print my work on epson fine art paper in a large roll, and I always do several test prints to ensure the work is as I want it before I print the larger print. This paper will be used for those test prints. 5

[22.165 lb] This was one of the free packages of 17x22 paper that came with my new Canon Pro1000 printer. Prior to that I never had use for paper of this size but as I used it for a new black and white series I was convinced. The paper has a lovely smooth finish but not matte. I now use this paper on a regular basis for many of my prints 5

[22.165 lb] I got a box of this paper when I bought my printer. One would think that you would get a poor paper for free. Not so with B&H. I love this paper for many of my B&W photographs. It has a rich look and just the smallest hint of warmth to it. 5
