Q: 1. is there any problem using this 14VDC battery or charger on the Dracast LED500 pro Daylight Leds? (I'm asking because those leds says it needs a 12VDC battery)

A: I had no problem using this batteries. The lights work fine i had them for 3 months already.

Q: 2. I don't understand, if you mount two mini's together, do they deplete at the same time? If so how can you "hot swap"

A: The PAG Mini PAGlink MPL50G Battery (50Wh) (B&H# PA7141) can join with another of its kind and the two would deplete at the same time, yes. When hot swapping, you would be replacing the battery that is not connected directly to the battery plate nor the D-tap cable. That way, it would not interrupt the power going to the battery plate or D-tap cable. There does need to be a bit of power in that battery in order for hot swapping to be possible, however. Fortunately, it's a quick procedure to remove one battery from the other and then add a freshly charged one in its stead.

Q: 3. Does it come with dtap charger?

A: Yes it does, you can kind of see it in the photo. It's at the top.

Q: 4. looking to power a pair of westcott td6 spiderlights (600 watt draw). Will this do the trick, or do i need a larger battery. Any recommendations?

A: The Westcott Td6 is not a battery light and can only be used with a battery inverter.And if you are using a fluorescent lamps those can have issues with batteries in general.This inverter should be okay Dynalite XP800 Pure Sine Wave Inverter B&H # DYXP800 MFR # XP-800.But with hot lights if you are using those type of bulbs it will not last that long.

Q: 5. Can I use a third party charger? I already own a gold mount charger.

A: PAG recommends using PAGLink chargers or Anton Bauer chargers, for use with their PAG Mini PAGlink MPL99G Battery (99Wh). "It can be charged using PAGlink or Anton Bauer chargers, for maximum versatility and economic integration."

A: This is designed specifically for PAGlink batteries. We do not recommend it for Anton Bauer Batteries, who sometimes require an Anton Bauer charger to properly charge.

A: While this unit should charge most other 3rd Party Gold Mount Batteries, Anton Bauer Gold Mount batteries tend to only work on Anton Bauer Chargers. We would not recommend this charger for an Anton Bauer Gold Mount Battery.
