Power D-Tap accessories with your PowerHub by fitting the PAG D-Tap Connector for Gold Mount PAGlink PowerHub. Once fitted in one of the PowerHub's slots, unregulated 12V of DC power will be delivered via the D-Tap connector. If your rig requirements changed, simply swap this connector using the quick-fit mechanism for easy customization in the field.

Q: 1. will this charge anton bauer xt batteries?

A: This is designed specifically for PAGlink batteries. We do not recommend it for Anton Bauer Batteries, who sometimes require an Anton Bauer charger to properly charge.

Q: 2. Can you use this plate on a gold-mount charger to charge v-mount batteries? Thanks.

A: The adapter allows you to use V-Mount type batteries on Gold Mount Camera Plates. It will also allow you to charge V-Mount batteries on PRO-X Gold Mount Chargers.

Q: 3. I don't understand, if you mount two mini's together, do they deplete at the same time? If so how can you "hot swap"

A: The PAG Mini PAGlink MPL50G Battery (50Wh) (B&H# PA7141) can join with another of its kind and the two would deplete at the same time, yes. When hot swapping, you would be replacing the battery that is not connected directly to the battery plate nor the D-tap cable. That way, it would not interrupt the power going to the battery plate or D-tap cable. There does need to be a bit of power in that battery in order for hot swapping to be possible, however. Fortunately, it's a quick procedure to remove one battery from the other and then add a freshly charged one in its stead.

Q: 4. Can I use a third party charger? I already own a gold mount charger.

A: PAG recommends using PAGLink chargers or Anton Bauer chargers, for use with their PAG Mini PAGlink MPL99G Battery (99Wh). "It can be charged using PAGlink or Anton Bauer chargers, for maximum versatility and economic integration."

A: Yes, the SHAPE Gold Mount Plate with D-Tap does come with mounting screws as well as an aluminum back plate.

Q: 7. Can I travel internationally with this charger? Will it work with a 230V supply voltage and 50Hz frequency?

A: Yes you can. It operates 100V to 265V AC.

Q: 8. Are there screw holes on the back of this plate to mount it on a handheld directors monitor cage?

A: Yes, there will be mounting points on this plate to connect it to a camera or other accessories.

Q: 9. Is this compatible with the Amira?

A: It's a battery plate... compatible with any device that will accept Gold Mount battery connectivity.

Q: 10. Will this work with Core SWX batteries?

A: I'm afraid not, this is specifically to charge PAGLink Batteries.

[D-Tap] they say it can charge 4 batteries at a time, but i actually do 8. I tried ordering the 2 position charger for my new style Pag batteries (the new smaller ones with the dtap and stuff) but for some reason it was almost impossible to get the batteries in, so I guess I'm sticking with this one instead. 5

[D-Tap] I currently own five of the PAG PL150 Series 150Wh and six of the PAG HC-PL94T. Im so glad I invested the extra money for these batteries. Theyre just so incredibly versatile. Love the fact they stack so I dont need to wake up in the middle of the night to swap out batteries as they charge. Also, when they stack they become much more capable batteries if you need more Wh or A for lights, etc. Expensive, yes, but I believe worth it in the long run. 5

[D-Tap] I bought this to have the option to use 12 amps + hot swapping + an additional d-tap with my Amira. I sandwich this battery in-between the camera and a second PAG battery. It works great and is very compact and lite weight. 5

[D-Tap] Awesome, awesome batteries. I bought these 2 years ago anticipating run & gun scenarios where I would need to throw on more power on the fly without powering down, and sure enough those instances came up. The linking mechanism is a phenomenal design, allowing for quick power as stated above, but also for set-and-forget charging, allowing you to stack up to 8 in a single column. When my cells eventually wear out, you can bet the barn I'm going with PAG again. 5

[D-Tap] Small and simple. Great for travel. I also have the micro charger. I stack all my batts on at night and in the morning they are all ready togo. No need to wake up over night and swap batts on and off. 5
