$110.97 $133.16

Designed to pick up two discrete sound sources and output them to one mono destination, the Savage Dual Head Lapel Mic for Clear Audio Recordingoffers two omnidirectional capsules with a 24' cable in between them. This makes it easy to pin each mic to an interview subject and take a single output to a variety of destinations. As such, the Dual Head Lapel Microphone is suitable for ENG and field-recording applications.

The microphone terminates in a single 3.5mm TRS connection. However, if you want to use the microphone with a modern GoPro camera, a USB adapter has been provided. Likewise, if you want to use the microphone with smartphones or DSLR cameras, a TRS to 3.5mm TRRS adapter is included. You'll also note the padded carry bag for transportation, two low-profile windsocks, and two artificial-fur windsocks for use in high-wind environments.

Q: 1. how long is the cable?

A: Hi, the cable is 4.1 feet. Thank you for shopping at B&H!

Q: 2. I want to plug this mic into a wireless pack for stereo recording. Is that possible?

A: This is not a stereo microphone. It would capture a voice in mono, which is usually most ideal for clear capture of speech. Please e-mail us at audio@bhphoto.com , or live chat with us, so we can discuss what you are trying to record in more detail, and check compatibility with your wireless system.

Q: 3. Can it be used for Zoom calls on Android device with wired headphones connected via mini jack?

A: No. It has USB C connector: Sennheiser XS Lav USB-C Lapel Mic (Computers & Mobile Devices with USB-C Ports)

Q: 4. On an Android phone, can it capture audio while bluetooth headphones with microphone are connected?

A: It really depends on the app that you are using to record. Since there can be a delay with Bluetooth, we don't recommend using Bluetooth headphones to monitor while recording with any device.

A: The Microphone Madness MM-LAPEL-2 will work with the GoPro Hero5 provided you use a proprietary audio adapter; B&H# GO35MA.

A: The MM-LAPEL-2 is compatible with the Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II.

A: The ST-M01 is a mono microphone.

Q: 9. Used with an iPad with a usb-c connector for zoom or skype calls, will I still be able to hear the other person on my iPad?

A: Whether you can use the Sennheiser XS Lav USB-C Lapel Mic and your device speakers at the same time will depend on whether the app you are using allows you to manually select input and output devices.

Q: 10. can you hook this up to a 1/4 inch jack or input?

A: Not by itself. You need to either change the plug or buy an 1/8 to 1/4 adapter

[Omnidirectional] The USB-C version of this microphone was really good and worked really well. It was not noisy at all for something at such a low price point. I'm personally really impressed with this microphone. In contrast, the TRRS version is junk and unusable while this version is really great.

[Solid-State] This microphone works well with the Chattervox. It is far superior to the ones supplied by Chattervox, especially the one they have that drapes around the neck.

[End Address] Love this interface -- switched to this from an older Tascam and couldn't be happier - great drivers and Cubase AI Included - perfectly stable so far -- I think it's a great value at this price point

[Omnidirectional] Better than the Azden I've been using and it doesn't break the bank. Great Value for the price!

[End Address] We wanted a simple, quality lapel mic to plug into a digital recorder to record a Bible study. I don't know anything about phantom power from the recorder or having to have an external power source for the mic, I just wanted to plug a mic into the recorder and record. This mic did just that, and at an awesome price. Plug and play, great sound, perfect cord length. However, the mic does pick up well, so if you have a hollow room, it will sound hollow. The mic is great, our room is not the best for recording.

[End Address] I connected this to a first and fourth generation iPad Pro with LTE. Connects to the headset port on first gen iPad Pro using included adapter. Used Apple USB C to headset adapter for fourth generation iPad Pro. I also needed to add an additional 25 ft extension cable for my use case. This created a problem with the fourth generation iPad Pro detecting an external microphone, but this device is not to blame. I live streamed church survices direct from Facebook and the audio was great. Being over 25 feet away, the built in iPad microphones was not picking up the voices - even using the building PA. Very inexpensive solution to my problem - highly recommended.

[Black] I placed it carefully inside my classical guitar where it connects to the pre-amp in addition to the pick-up that it comes with. It works very nicely as it grabs the sound echoed by the guitar itself to complement the sound from the strings on the saddle.
