The JVC GY-HM250SP 4K Streaming Camcorder with HD Sportsis a full-featured pro camcorder that enables a single operator to add lower-thirds and titles while recording in HD or streaming—no external character generator or switcher is required. It features a 1/2.3" sensor and captures UHD 4K video at 24/30p, and 4:2:2 4K at 24/30p. This versatile camera offers you the option of recording UHD 4K at rates up to 150 Mb/s to SDXC Class 3 cards or up to 70 Mb/s to SDXC/SDHC Class 10 cards. In HD mode, the GY-HM250SP can display score overlays for sports such as football, baseball, basketball, hockey, soccer, and volleyball. Score overlays may be placed in various screen positions, and a camera operator can update the score via Wi-Fi using a smartphone or tablet. The GY-HM250SP is also compatible via Wi-Fi with a scoreboard-integrated Sportzcast Scorebot.

The GY-HM250SP's integrated IP engine enables you to stream Full HD in the field directly from the camcorder and offers remote camera control and monitoring from your mobile device or laptop. Compatible with RTMP, Zixi, and Wowza streaming, the GY-HM250SP offers one-click zeroconf configuration when using a common LAN between cameras. A firmware update brings Facebook Live integration to the camera, streamlining the connection process. In HD mode, custom graphics can be created and controlled via a browser-controlled tablet or smartphone. The GY-HM250SP also comes with pre-installed color schemes and the ability to upload icons or logos to add a personalized look to your footage.

An integrated 12x zoom lens with a tele-macro function provides a 35mm equivalent focal range of 29.6 to 355mm, and a 24x dynamic zoom mode is available when recording in HD. For composing and monitoring video, the camcorder features a 3.5" LCD, a 0.24" viewfinder, and a smart focus assist function. Additional features include dual SDHC/SDXC card slots, two internal ND filters, and a built-in stereo microphone. Designed to fit into professional workflows, the JVC GY-HM250SP camcorder comes with 3G-SDI and HDMI outputs and dual XLR audio inputs. A top handle unit with the integrated audio box, a 7.4 VDC battery, and an AC adapter are included with the camera.

[f/1.2 to 3.5] I give the JVC HC900 5-Stars! Excellent Camera all the way around. Caution....The on camera microphone requires a 5-pin XLR connection. The nearest 3-pin XLR jacks are located in the rear of the camera below the battery. If you purchase a 5-pin male to 3-pin female XLR cable, it will need to be at least 16 in length. Weight is about 18.6lbs with battery. 5

[JVC SSL-JVC50] I love this camera. I own three. They are the in-house camera in our production studio. Easy and intuitive. Sharp picture. These cameras have more flexibility than the more expensive cameras which makes them ideal for many situations. You really can't go wrong. Find a deal that includes the internal 1 TB SSD. They are very expensive sold separately. 5

[0.24"] I really love this Camera... Works great. Picture quality is great, controls are easy, very light camera, but very rugged as well. When shooting freehand with a Steady Stick, I find that focusing Long Distances is difficult with manual focus and impossible with Auto Focus (I primarily shoot a lot of RC A/C.. Distance shots even zoomed in hard to focus through the viewfinder and using the flip out monitor in daylight is useless as you just get blinded.... I Have a GY-HM100U camera and I do not have the RC shooting problem that I have with the 180, However this is a minor issue for me. However, even with all of that, I really like the camera. Heavy Duty, Great Video, works well... Inside use of the camera is 2nd to none... everything works great and as advertised as does shooting at night does very very well. One feature that I noted is the Remote Port... It is actually LANC and works well with LANC Devices, even though it is not advertised... A great feature that JVC should push, but do not seem to do. 5

[13.6 x 11 x 10"] We purchased this to do some quick new reporting style interviews and it works fantastic. Most of our camera operators are volunteers and this unit has the best automatic setting that we have found. The recordings onto SD card import easily into Premiere Pro making the process simple for lay persons to capture the footage we need. 5

[Focus Zoom] Bought this camera for our church to do live streaming and it has worked out great. I purchased the bundle that had an extra battery and professional microphone with it. The mic has worked great so far but we are trying to tie the sound into our sound board so when streaming and recording we will get the best sound possible. Nice feature of the camera is the ability to live stream and record at the same time. This will come in handy when we need to burn the recordings to DVD for those that dont have FB or YT or know how to use either one. Another nice feature is the lower third graphics and the ability to add a logo. So I have the church logo on the screen and the preachers name as well as the current verse hes preaching from in the Bible so people watching can keep up and read along, For the purpose we need/wanted I dont know if I could have found a better camera that takes the headaches out of live streaming as its built directly into the camera. Plus with the ability to do the lower third graphics our videos look professional and it didnt break the bank or require a bunch of hardware. 5

[JVC SSL-JVC50] This camera has a beautiful image, I take it into Wirecast for church services and stream out to Facebook live. I love the ability to access the menu from the same streaming computer, without getting a ladder out, to change settings on the screen of the camera. 5
