Available as an electronic download, this crossgrade to IK Multimedia Syntronik Virtual Synthesizer Plug-In Crossgradeis a virtual synthesizer workstation plug-in with a library that comprises seventeen modeled instruments with over 2000 preset sounds. The library covers 38 meticulously multi-sampled iconic vintage synthesizers and string machines, including the Oberheim OB-Xa, ARP String Ensemble, Sequential Circuits Prophet-5, PPG Wave 2.3, Minimoog Model D, Roland Jupiter-8, and more. To make your sound-tweaking experience even more inspirational, the workstation offers seventeen dedicated interfaces with the look and feel of the original hardware panels and easy-to-use controls.

Syntronik employs the company's DRIFT technology to emulate the way real analog circuits behave over time and recreate the unmistakable sound of analog oscillators. The synth engine features circuit-level filter models from four of the best-sounding synths of all time, which provide a pristine reproduction of the most critical sections of each synthesizer in the collection, while enabling you to produce your own original sonic dimensions.

The software comes with true 4-part capability, great for layering rich sounds with multis and splits. Four keyboard modes including Poly, Mono, Legato 1, and Legato 2, and four dynamic arpeggiators are included to create complex rhythmic textures. 38 high-quality effects are available for insertion via a lunchbox-style interface, which allows you to intuitively forge, manipulate, transform, and mangle your sounds with up to five simultaneous effects per instrument.

Syntronik is compatible with Mac and Windows platforms, and works in VST2, VST3, Audio Units, and AAX formats running at 64-bit.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. what is the warranty?

A: The warranty information for this product can be found here: https://www.ikmultimedia.com/warranty/

Q: 2. Can this hook up to Samsung note 8?

A: No, the iRig HD 2 is not Android compatible. For Android, we suggest iRig UA and the AmpliTube UA app. Check this out here: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1115763-REG/ik_multimedia_ip_irig_ua_in_irig_ua_universal_guitar.html

Q: 3. Does this mic have a XLR option or is it strictly USB?

A: Besides the input for the included mic, here is what the description says: The unit also features an auxiliary input for your acoustic/electric's existing pickup configuration, and a blend knob.... The processing unit...provides a USB output for connection to Mac and Windows computers, as well as iOS devices. It also offers a 1/4" output for use on stage.

Q: 4. Would this cable be able to connect a Line 6 iStomp guitar pedal to an iPad Air so that I could use the iStomp app?

A: The IK Multimedia USB Type-C to Mini-DIN Cable is not compatible for use with the DigiTech iStomp Downloadable Effect Pedal. The cable has a mini-DIN connector and is designed specifically for use with IK Multimedia devices. We are not able to confirm compatibility with the iStomp Pedal. (The HX Stomp Effects Pedal is the model by Line 6 and DigiTech is the manufacturer of the iStomp Pedal that is compatible with iOS.)

Q: 5. How do you recommend attaching this to a rig? Is gaff tape the only solution or do you just let it hang?

A: Honestly, i just use a piece of leather to keep it up.

Q: 6. Does this come with the cabling to go out to an iPad? Lightning to Lightning?

A: Yes, the iRig Pre HD comes with two cables -- a Lightning to micro-USB cable and a USB to micro-USB cable. The host connector on the iRig is micro-USB. If your iPad uses a Lightning connector, then the Lightning to micro-USB cable is the one to use. If your iPad uses a USB-C connector, use the USB to micro-USB cable together with a Pearstone USB 3.0 Type-C to USB Type-A Adapter (B&H # PEUSB33CA06) or similar USB-C adapter.

[Crossgrade] The Arturia Mini V3 is incredibly cool. There is truly sooo much you can do over a standard Model-D from an extra LFO that doesn’t eat up oscillator 3 to velocity as a modifier to varying actual pulse widths static or modulated to individual amounts of any modifier on each oscillator all made possible by the eight slot mod matrix. The major failing that I take no points off from this synth is that it does not have the natural drift of the original Model-D. I’m pretty sure I have heard & seen oscillator drift in soft software synths so I’m not sure why it’s omitted here but as long as you detune your oscillators to taste you get a rich sound that in context will surpass a Minimoog in terms of sheer flexibility & enhancements every time. The built in chorus & delay sound good but really aren’t necessary for most patches. I never found a use for the vocal filter as I would have preferred female articulations or the motion recorder as it always restarts with each note press & isn’t free running like say a Moog 1125 which would have been an ingenious touch. Maybe in a future update. For sheer flexibility from enhancements such as polyphony & velocity to being able to automate sequences & performances to never needing to service your instrument the Arturia Mini V3 delivers in spades. I literally sold my vintage Model-D because the Mini V3’s features made me feel the vintage instrument is more of a collectors piece & not forward thinking. I see myself using the Mini V3 for a long time to come.

[50 GB] I'd been using basses in Logic Pro X and they were OK but ModoBass is a MUCH more realistic bass synth. I love it that, as good as it is, it still has a very small "footprint." Excellent!
