Capture and play back up to three channels of SDI video at up to 60 fps with the Osprey Raptor 935 PCIe Capture Card 3 SDI Inputsfrom Osprey. This capture card offers three SDI inputs, which are rated at 3 Gb/s, work with SD, HD, and 3G frame sizes, and support 16 embedded audio channels (eight stereo channels) each. The third SDI channel can be configured as loopout from the first input. The card comes mounted on a full-height bracket, in addition to which a half-height bracket is included in the package.

A: Yes, but the capture express encoding engine is fairly cpu intensive plus the preview may lag the machine. It didn't work that well with a 16core/32thread machine.

Q: 4. Does this card do 4K60 4:4:4 capture without any degradation like converting input to 4K/60 4:2:2 first?

A: Yes, the Magewell PCIe x8 Two-Channel 4K Capture Card can capture 4K60 4:4:4 without loss or conversion.

Q: 5. Excuse if this is a rookie question but can I input component video from the component output of my Sony HVR Z1U input it into Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere pro as 1080p using this card?

A: This card does not have component hd input/output, only hd-sdi. You will not be able to capture 1080p video with this card.

A: As per manufacturer, it has standard size BNC connectors.

A: Yes, you can captures 4 HD signals with the Magewell Pro Capture Quad SDI Card and reproduce all 4 signals at the same time in the multi view window of the capture or streaming software you are using.

A: Yes it will. It will take in four HD signal and work with vMix as well.

A: This requires at least a PCIe Gen2 x8 slot. It would be suggested that the computer used has some beefy specs, such as at least a Quad i7 if not more, 4GB Graphics Card at the least along with 16B of RAM and a SSD hard drive. [4.6 oz / 130 g] I received my unit from Osprey in May 17 for Beta testing and didn't expect too much being a prototype. It's been working flawless ever since. Our device is used in class rooms for video capture and live streaming to YouTube (on MAC and Windows). We run it in manual mode with 640x360 30fps output. Featuring a manual mode is a big plus as it allows the students to switch between video capture software's and the output is guaranteed to be 640x360 at all times. We have tried some other devices as well but experienced a lot of problems with embedded HDMI Audio. This device just works and best of all it is assembled right here in USA at a lower price than most other professional USB capture devices. Will buy more shortly. 5

[4.6 oz / 130 g] Pretty satisfied thus far, would definitely recommend as opposed to the decklink duos. Status lights on the rear are a nice touch as well, helps to immediately determine whether or not the system is receiving a signal without having to check anything else. 5

[0.605 lb] The Osprey is quite versatile and reliable. We have purchased dozens of the G1 & G2 encoders for use throughout numerous facilities in our extensive network. Our primary use is for multicasting, but we also do a number of unicasts and YouTube streams. Osprey tech support is so helpful and knowledgeable, which is another huge selling point. We have used numerous other manufacturers products (HaiVision, Evertz, Ensemble Design, and Lynx). All of them work fine but Osprey offered the best quality and reliability for the price. 5

[0.605 lb] We use this card to stream 1080p 60fps to Youtube, Using wirecast for youtube. Works amazingly well. Wirecast has some Clocking Issues and every 30-60 minutes the Audio levels freakout a bit. The issues is 100% on wirecast. FLME works perfectly and also Media Express and Premiere. 5
