Q: 10. I have a PreSonus StudiLive AR12 mixer. Would I be correct in saying that this sits before the mixer in the chain? So mic into this channel, channel out to the mixer. If so would I bring it in as a mixer channel insert? Thanks everyone!

A: You could use it as in insert, but you would use the AR12 mic input, which would defeat the purpose of having an external preamp. The better way is to connect your mic to the preamp and then connect the preamp to one of the line/instr inputs on channels one or two on the AR12.
