Q: 1. What's the difference between molle and utility?

A: The difference is in terms of the sheath included with it. A Molle Sheath would be made out of a heavy duty webbing material and which offers a fold over flap. A Utility Sheath is made of a heavy duty plastic and contains an open top.

Q: 2. Is the Tangent Element Kb Panel compatible with Avid Media Composer 8.X?

A: Unfortunately Avid have not added native support for Tangent panels within any of their products. It is still possible to map keyboard shortcuts to the panel controls however this is obviously far more limited than native support.

Q: 3. Hi! I'm pondering to get this one. Simple question though, does the Sidekick ship with a Carabiner?

A: Yes. The following item includes the carabiner.

A: Limited 25-Year Warranty is included

Q: 5. What is the difference between a box and a clamshell packaging options?

A: The Leatherman FREE P4 would offer the same tool in both types of packaging.

Q: 6. Will the Tangent Element-Kb work with Lightroom using MIDI2LR?

A: Unfortunately not. The Element panels don't communicate via Midi so MIDI2LR won't help here. We are currently investigating the best ways to integrate our panels with Lightroom but currently have no released solution to offer.

Q: 7. Does this product with a Utility Sheath OR MOLLE sheath?

A: MOLLE Sheath is included

A: As of 10/23/23 the Leatherman Signal Multi-Tool with Black Nylon Sheath (Cobalt, Box) is currently available in store.

Q: 9. Does this come with a flathead bit? Something that could be used for 1/4 screws that we usually have to ask somebody for a spare quarter to then tighten/loosen the screw? Trying to cut down on the amount of tools I'm carrying around and I think this paired with an allen key set might do it. For: Photo and Film work. Thanks!

A: Short answer: YES.Long answer: get the Leatherman 21 Piece Tool Steel Bit Kit too. Will cover your Allen key needs plus torx, plus other bits.I'm not a Leatherman fan boy, usually prefer Gerber, but the Skeletool is genuinely excellent.

Q: 10. Does this tool come with a hex wrench that will tighten and loosen an area Swiss plate?

A: The Leatherman Sidekick Multi-Tool does not include a hex wrench that can be used to tighten an Arca-Swiss type plate.

[Folding] I have this on my belt all the time. Perfect for slicing up samples of food (remember to clean it otherwise it is potential for rust and contamination) or opening boxes. The tool bits are just what you need for everyday use. Nothing superfluous about this tool. 5

[Stainless Steel] This tool has exactly what I need, it's right there when I need it. Maybe best of all, when I'm not using it, I don't even notice it's there. In the past week I've encountered 14 different times where it totally saved the day. For something this lightweight, it's got an amazing bite-strength when turning a nut. The blade cut right through paper like butter. Great design--an overall great tool! 5

[Clip Point] I Pocket carry this Skeletool on the clip and throw a LM Bit-Kit in the nylon sheath it comes with and its a very functional and light weight. Added a LM Micra to my keychain for a good pair of scissors to complete this edc setup. 5

[0.25 lb] I give this product a top rating based on what it's intended for...an every day carry knife, with the convenience of a pliers. This is the opposite of the normal Leatherman...with emphasis on the pliers. The Skeletool is light and well designed with convenient features. If you're looking for tool features of an every day tool you'd be better served with the likes of the blast/wave etc. This is my always carry Leatherman...while I'll stick with the Blast/Wave/Surge lineup for heavy duty tool use.The Skeletool is a great companion for hiking, biking and camping!As to B&H Photo...I have bought from them before and will continue in the future. THIS IS A FIVE STAR retailer. Pricing is reasonable ... 5
