Q: 1. For the male mini connector, is it 2.5mm?

A: The Impact Sync Cord Male Mini to Male Household (18") does not have 2.5mm connector but instead has a 3.5mm connector.

Q: 2. Which Profoto Air Sync Cable (specific product/item #) do I need to purchase/require: to connect one of my Profoto Air Remote(#901031; non TTL, with 3.5mm miniphone plug for sync signal in/out) to one of my off-camera Canon 600EX-RT speedlight; to then trigger that Canon 600EX-RT speedlight (in non-optical, slave sync) to receive a nonTTL radio signal from one of my Profoto Air Remote TTL-C(#901039), which would be mounted in the hot shoe of one of my Canon 5DmkIII cameras? The result being: the triggering of both my off-camera Profoto B1 500 Air TTL (via the camera mounted Profoto Air Remote TTL-C) and the triggering of my off-camera Canon 600EX-RT speedlight (via cable connected Profoto Air Remote).Do I purchase/use one of the following Profoto Air Sync Cable:Profoto #103016 (1/4 phone male to 3.5mm miniphone male),orProfoto #103020 (male 3.5mm miniphone to male 3.5mm miniphone),or?Thank you for any help, or clarity on the Profoto product # required.Mary

Q: 3. Can I attach this wire to an IMPACT mono light strobe and then to a Sekonic 305B or 305S without damage to either?

A: Sorry- I my question is- can this wire be attached to a Sekonic 308S or 308B without causing any damage to either the light meter or the IMPACT strobe flash?

Q: 4. Will this cord work with Pocket Wizard X to a flash with a PC socket?

A: I do not know if this cord will work.

Q: 5. With the PC Sync end plugged into my camera (Canon R5 / 5D), would the other end plug into the Canon ST-E3-RT Transmitter (not attached to the hot shoe) to trigger the flash?

A: Yes, but will offer no TTL metering.

Q: 6. Anyone used this cable to trigger a Hasselblad X1D ii remotely?

A: The Profoto Male 1/4" Phono to Male 3.5mm Miniphone Cable - 11.8" can be used to trigger a Hasselblad X1D ii remotely

Q: 7. Will this cord connect a Sekonic 478DR light meter to an Alienbee B800 light or a Canon 580 ExII flash to meter them?

A: This cord on it's own won't be suitable for either application. I think the Alienbee comes with a 1/4 jack so you'll need a 3.5 mm adapter to use this cord - I don't know if PCB supply the strobe with the adapter. There's no 3.5 mm socket on the 580EX (it's mini PC only) so you'll need a hotshot adapter or just get the PC to PC cord. I'm sure there's a reason you want to use a cord but have you thought about using the meter in cordless mode and just trigger the flash(es) with whatever device you are intending to fire them. Also, it's a more expensive solution but since you have the DR version of the 478 meter have you thought about investing in some Pocketwizards? No cords, no adapters, very convenient and very reliable. I use the Plus IIIs but the Plus X twin pack looks like great value and will work with any other Pocketwizard.

Q: 8. this can be used with a rolleiflex or a linhof with profoto b10?

A: Yes.

Q: 9. Can I use this wire with a Westcott 240 lighting kit?

A: Yes the Westcott Strobelite 2 Light Educational Kit B&H # WESL2LUEK MFR # 240 can work with this sync cord.

Q: 10. Will this work with mamiya m645 - sekor 80mm 2.8 c lens? I want to sync it with a godox sk400ii by a godox xt16.

A: To use a Xt-16 you would want the cable at this link. https://bhpho.to/33z4wg2

[0.05 lb] Using it to connect my old Nikon SB-28 flash to my Canon 5D MkIII for macro photography. Hand holding flash off-camera in manual mode for dramatic lighting. Enough light to use Canon 100mm macro lens at f32 and 1/180sec (on tripod to retain focusing distance) to stop action but get good depth of focus.

[16" / 40.6 cm] This simple cord allows me to use my old Yonguno ring flash (with Canon hot shoe fitting) on my Sony a7Riv. It won't permit ETTL, but working manual flash mode for macro is fine with me.

[0.05 lb] Wireless is great until there's a problem. That's why I always carry backup cords to a shoot on location.

[16" / 40.6 cm] Needed to use flash in manual mode off camera. Connectivity was a breeze, cable was connected from camera to flash via PC terminals. Cable’s PC terminals are sturdy and well insulated. It works great. Highly recommended.
