[49mm] This was the one product that was not already in stock in the BH shop, but I was willing to take the chance and order it anyway-the product arrived about a week after the rest of my other items came. Looking through the lens with my naked eye onto direct light- I can see immediately the 4 point star effect! Can't wait to use this in my future photo shoots and cinematography projects.

[0.295 lb] This filter was a pleasure to use. I find that it performs best in sunlight and dusk settings. I intended to use this with a mist filter; however, I found this star filter seems to naturally have a 10% mist effect that softens an image even when there are no light sources to create a star effect. I will say that if used after dark and in a city environment, the effect can be a quite strong and distracting.

[49mm] This camera completely changed the way I think of capturing moments and memories. Not for 'photos as art'.

[0.295 lb] For the price and considering what some other filter companies charge for prism effects like this, I wasn't expecting much. This turned out to be one of my favourite effects filters. It creates such a cool look - gradually repeats the subject about 4 times while your main focal point remains nice and sharp. It rotates smoothly so you can change it up as you shoot. This is a very fun little piece of glass to keep in your kit.

[49mm] This macro attachment rocks! It's a large, optically perfect item giving excellent results. I might use a 72 to 77mm step-up ring.

My original intent for the Nisha was to add macro capability to my Rokinon/Samyang 85mm lenses. Used with a zoom, I did find that it shadowed my Sony 'G' lens at the widest focal length of 24mm. My sample image of an Orca carving was taken with the Sony lens.

[0.295 lb] Like all things Polaroid, this is a challenge to use. Double exposures can only be automatic, so you have to make sure the metering sensor at the bottom of the lens can see while you half-press the shutter; then you can rotate the filter to your desired orientation, perhaps refocus by rotating the selector dial left, then finally shutter. I had to pluck the handle off so I could rotate the filter the whole way around. And I recommend using a silver or white marker to mark the outer rim of the filter that lets light through. If you don't do that, you have to turn the camera towards you to set the orientation while holding the shutter half-pressed. Plus, if you screw the filter all the way down, it binds a little when you try to rotate it with one hand, which of course you must; so I recommend leaving it a turn unscrewed. This may sound like a 3-star review, but I'm just so glad I didn't have to figure out how to 3D print something to make double exposures easy.

[49mm] I needed this for a crazy task: converting my ancient (1952?) Leitz Elmar 9cm (90mm) lens to accept a 49mm lens hood or lens cap to be used on a Canon EOS M6 Mark II. It's a great old lens, great new camera (and because the sensor is APS-C, it's only using the center of this excellent lens). I already had an old Tiffen adapter ring to mount a Series VI UV filter, and it screwed into the 39mm front threads of the lens. I did not have a 44mm lens cap or hood to screw into that Series VI adapter, but did have some spares of each in 49mm.

Bizarre and probably a little confusing, I know.

This step-up ring bridged the gap, and everything fits great with no vignetting caused by the Tiffen metal lens hood, which screws into the step-up ring just like the metal lens cap pictured. (Nice to have a good lens hood when shooting in full sun with an old single-coated lens).
